Well I finally got my fresh powder from eastwood and just had to try out the powdercoating setup I bought off of Craigslist for $100.
Blasted my pedals and gave it a try. WOW!
Excuse the misuse of the MGB.

Neat! Did your wife appreciate you using the baking rack for this??
;)
The setup came with a nasty old oven... Would not reccomend using your house hold oven.

Very nice, but how did you get the trunk hot enough to cure the powder?
Looks great - wish I had the room in my garage for a second-hand stove!
Must be a the best place to learn, kind of hidden away. When I bought my kit from Eastwood the pedals were my first victim too.
We picked up an extra oven at an auction for $5 bucks, no way hubby was getting my good oven. We have used the same method as you, I have done my valve cover in the same color as my exterior. Just for fun. I picked up some nice chrome powdercoating to try out but haven't gotten that far yet.
