I have a 59 Bugeye. I am going to put a 1275 lump in it. Can I use the 950 smooth case trans or do I need to get a rib case?

I think the smooth case would work... But id rethink the smooth case... Its not near as durable as the rid case, anf the ribcase ...well, it will get you to A to B for 35k before it needs a rebuild, might be worthwhile doing a datsun...a couple of our members sells a kit.
