I recently purchased the car from the estate of my neighbor in Allentown, PA. His daughter is the 3rd owner and has owned the car since 1977. She moved to Switzerland years ago and left the car at her father's house. She sold me the car and couldn't find the title. She last registered the car in Connecticut. Manufacture date is 10/69. You will get a bill of sale with the car...no title.
The car looks to be complete, but I'm selling it as a parts car because the floors are mostly rotted out and so are the door bottoms and rocker panels. Trunk has no holes. Engine is there w/ 64,000 original miles, dual carbs still intact, key is still in ignition, shifter is gone, but I believe transmission is still there. Not sure if it has overdrive or disc brakes. It has 5 wire wheels. Top frame looks good. Trunk lid looks good. Lenses are good. First $750 takes it. Bring your winch/flatbed.

I'd hazard a guess that a car in this condition with no Title is going to be of little interest at that price, unless you can ascertain if it has overdrive. Then there will be more interest. IMHO, FWIW.

You'll have to get underneath it and look for a "round" part at the back of the gearbox. A non-overdrive car's gearbox has the tailstock that tapers to the driveshaft.
Since the shifter is gone, you may be able to look down and back through the shifter hole to see. Post a picture of this area if you can.
