I still need good HIGH RESOLUTION photos for the calendar. I would particularly like to get a couple of GTs, an RB GT would be really nice. As would an action shot or two or maybe a sequence of painting prep with the finished car?
Please send your High Resolution Photos to sales@altxt.com NOW

* Correct Historical dates for MG B anniversaries for the calendar grid, please do not guess. Send your Event or Historical data to sales@altxt.com NOW
* Your photo may not be used for any number of reasons, if your car does not appear it does not justify canceling your order... For that matter you can GUARANTEE YOUR CAR MAKES IT INTO THE CALENDAR by purchasing a mini pic in a date box for $5. Purchase HERE
* Photos MUST be of an MG B this will not be for other models.
* I can put almost anything in the calendar date boxes, Naomi's birthday, Drake's High School locker combination or Twigger's Blood Pressure average is fine. $2 per insertion, again to bring the overall cost for everyone else down. I'll buy the entry on Dec 27, the anniversary of Joseph Lucas' death.
* Production time is about 6 weeks, so if we are going to do this and get them by Christmas we must get started. Buy your Date Box Text Line HERE.
* Make sure you send your Correct Mailing Address because the calendar will not be returned (bulk mail )and you will be bummed, and out your money, and I don't want that to happen!
* IF this results in a profit I will send the appropriate amount to Skye to support the site.

Sorry only 12 photos will appear in the calendar. Photos will be chosen by my art department based on composition clarity and quality of the photo. Barn Rustics are just as likely to appear as trailer queens. At least two months will feature Rubber Bumper Cars and at least two months will feature GTs as is appropriate to the reality of production.
Sending high resolution (2400 x 3000 pixels minimum) photos now improves your chance of placement of your car as one of the Car of the Month pictures.
Ah yes...
Send show and event dates for 2011 to sales@altxt.com
Please double check your dates because I rely on you to have confirmed them.
No charge for show and event date pad insertions.
$2 a line is confusing. Is that total cost or total per calender cost? How long is a line...as in characters? "
Total Cost Robert!
$2 gets you a line of text in the directory,
$4 gets you a second line just below that.
Approximate size is 5" wide so figure 100 characters:
"Kirks-Auto Refitters - Moss Dealer - Davenport Iowa - NOS & Reconditioned Parts - kirks-auto - 563-323-1017"
is 100 characters and would fit on one line, for $2.
It will appear on every calendar ordered, in the hands of 150 or more owners of MGBs actively running or being restored.

Leave it to Jack to ask what I didn't already cover!
Good questions Jack, I am copying this into the thread from our PMs to help answer other people's questions.
I think that it is a fine idea and I think that I am in for at least one calendar and perhaps an ad. Hold my hand here. I looked at the specimen ad on your site and don't understand what the actual calendar would look like. "
Here is a better picture of what the cover would look like.
Sorry it is not an showroom perfect MG.
Below it is a pic of a calendar opened up.
Remember the size is a full size display wall calendar, 10 7/8" x 18 including the drop tab.
It is just like a regular wall calendar. Spiral wire bound. Top photo, bottom is an "appointment calendar pad."
The date boxes are about 1.75" wide by 1.5" tall.
You can fit about 35 characters and spaces per line in the little boxes, no more than 5 lines of text per date.
I can also put photos in the boxes the price is explained below.

Where would the ad spaces appear?"
Line ads are on the back inner cover. They are $2 per line.
On the WOrder Web Site they are a separate item which can be added to your shopping cart.
Now you can pick up an ad separately and you can come back and add another date line again and again without having to purchase another calendar.
Line adds will appear as a directory, alphabetized rather than categorized; so the first word will determine where you end up. Jackscars will appear higher in the list than Twigster. "Distributors by Jeff" would appear above "Jeff's Distributors" and so on.
Outer back cover will be available for additional space if necessary, same pricing.
What printed size would they be? "
The drop tab ads are three ads visible all year.
They hang down from the calendar as a bottom ad this is the area which usually has a company name on it in the calendars your insurance company sends out.
I have decided to split the tab in three sections.
Skye does not want to brand the calendar MGE which I had planned on doing so I am taking one of the three tabs.
These can have graphics or logos on them.
They are roughly 2 x 3 so just smaller than a business card and cost $20.
The Drop Tabs are now SOLD OUT.
The Date Box Lines are the text in the little boxes on the calendar pad and are pretty small, look at any wall calendar and you will see that the font is likely 10 points.
This pic shows the boxes and why there are only 5 lines available in the boxes.
Date Line Ads are $2 and available at the order site separate from other items, just add them to your shopping cart!

If you want to buy the entire box of text I can put a graphic in there instead of the lines.
You must meet art requirements for the graphic but it will be $10 and (almost) anything goes.
You can also have your car's photo in any calendar date box for $5 without specifying any text, or your car and one line of text for $7 car and two lines for $9 your car and up to 5 lines of text for $10.
Forgive the quality of the image here, it looks much better at photobucket and will be clean crisp and beautiful on the calendars.
Hey Look it's Jack in the Box!

Would the text line(s) be separate from the photo? "
Yes. Text line ads will appear on the back inner cover of the calendar so you can flip up the calendar pad to the end and look up the number for "Jackscars" or whomever.
I think you are referring to Date Box Lines which will be in the body of the calendar pad, where all the little boxes are.
The BIG photo at the top may have text in the photo but only to identify the year, model, color and general description of the car.
As an aside; mini car photos are placed inside the calendar pad. This will allow anyone to have THEIR car on a calendar even if it is only a 1 inch picture.
This way you HAVE bragging rights "My car was a calendar model." and lower resolution pictures can be used (minimum is 360 x 175 pixels) pricing to be determined. Wouldn't that be a nice thing to have at the next car show?
It allows a lower resolution picture to be printed but I have to limit the quantity in order to make sure the calendar remains functional.
Off the top of my head I am thinking something like the pic of me sitting in my old B with test similar to what appears on http://www.jackscars.net/. If the physical proportions of that photo won't work then I might just use the photo of the old hippie burn-out."
Your first suggestion would likely not end up as a full size photo of the month because there is no background to the picture, but it might look nice printed in the little date box on your birthday at about 1 1/4 inch. In fact it is your picture that I have above as a sample!
As for the Hippie Burnout photo, again not as the car photo of the month but maybe you want it to mark the day you first drove an MG... You do remember when that was, don't you? Mine was October 8.
So here is the rundown:
Directory Listing, $2 per line, 100 characters per line MAX, inside back cover.
Date Box Lines, $2 per line, 35 characters per line, 5 lines per date max.
Drop Tab Ad, 2 available, $20, Roughly 2"H x 3"W logos are SOLD OUT.
Date Box Graphic (Mini Car Pics in the BODY of the Calendar,) $5, Photo must meet graphic requirements (not hard to do), Select Month and day, provide a second date just in case!
Calendars, $20.50 each, MAILED BULK MAIL to your address in time for Christmas in US and Canada, international arranged on per situation basis.

Looks like this:
Say Hi Jack!

Pricing update.
The Date Box Graphic price just changed. i edited the posts above so you were reading the correct information and any link takes you to the Order Site. Like THIS ONE
You can put your graphic in the box and still add lines of text to the box so the price for the graphic will be $5 with no text.
If you already ordered a Date Box Graphic, your order information has been adjusted accordingly.
Thanks everyone we are 10% of the way there!
Michael
Michael, Will you have to add state tax to your price for Mass residents?
Oh! John, yes, sorry. Thanks for pointing it out!
Massachusetts Residents will pay sales tax.
"If the product is ordered in Massachusetts, sold by a company with a physical presence in Massachusetts and delivered to taken possession of or first put into use in the state of Massachusetts the product is subject to Massachusetts State Sales Tax of 6.25%" DOR
Of course shipping to anywhere outside the state makes it Massachusetts State Sales Tax Exempt.
Was sorry to hear you sold your Sprite. Give me about seven months and I'll be looking for one, I think. The wife wants me to consider an MGA, I kind of want a Sprite.
9/12/10 4PM EST, 20 calendars pre-sold and counting
Really need to get some high res pictures folks.
Paul,
I am still collecting photos. I have some good ones but we do not have enough to start making selections yet so send what you got. I really do not want to use my cell phone pics!
Jeff grant, Hap, Chris Roop, and the others that have asked, called or emailed:

Micheal, how we doing on order numbers, are we getting closer, hoping guys step up and pledge a order so we meet the goal and make the MGEX calendars a reality.
Well Hap as of 5:00 PM Friday we were at 27% of goal.
There are a little less than 3 weeks to deadline.
The web site went down around 6 Friday evening, not sure what the problem is but it also took down about 5,000 websites and a number of research databases for people all over the country so whatever it is it is a pretty big snafu. I am hoping they get back online soon, it is just after midnight and things are still down.
You know 1200 views on the two threads but only 42 calendars sold.
Come on people, I've made this as easy as I can you KNOW you want one!
I was in a junky junk store, you know the type. they had a rather funky musckle car calendar there for $17. I really would not have bought it but I wanted to know what A-Z Bargain was selling them for. They were not very nice shots unless you like 1973 Volare Broughm 4 doors with the straight six in silver with the cordovan vinyl roof... and consider it a "Muscle Car"
Here we are talking about an MGB calendar, with your friend's cars in it, maybe even yours if you send a picture to sales@altxt.com. No charge to send a pic. You don't have to buy a calendar to send a pic. For a couple of bucks I can pop your cars pic in the middle oof a calendar grid if you want, or how about putting your birthday on it so this year all your MG friends will know when to send you that new pair of Acme Speed Shop Su's? or Wasper's Seat Belt holder?
Really though if just 1 out of ten people who viewed this thread bought a calendar already I would be burning midnight oil to figure out a lower price.
If I could get more directory listings the 150 minimum requirement would drop too!
MOSS, VB Brit-tek...you listening??? Cheapest danged advertising you ever bought!
LOL oh hard sell over...
Special thanks to a certain member who has now laid claim to 10 copies of this calendar!! Woo Hoo!
30% of the way there guys, come on...
Very few people in the directory. only $2 gets you a line in there!
We need another 100 calendar sales. I am surprised actually that more of you haven't set yourselves up to get one!
I pre-ordered 2 ! One for me, one for R&R Auto shop.
It'll be nice to have an all-MGE Calendar.
Ordering was easy and as I understand from Michael, no charge until delivery.
Come on people, get your orders in so this project comes to fruition SOON !
RS
I placed my order. I am looking forward to enhancing my office decor with a new car each month. Thank you for taking this project on.
How do you guys feel about pics like Jimmy hilton's polished SU carbs or nice ... or nasty... engine bays?
I've ordered one for my garage and one for my office at work. Can't wait to see an actual calendar dedicated to MGBs!
It'd be great if everyone could order one so we can get the count up. If we don't support this kind of effort, we will always be complaining about no one doing anything for the MGB crowd! :)-D
Mike, though my B isn't in the most awesome condition, I'll be sending you a picture anyway in case you get strapped for content.
As far as bad engine bays go, don't think I'd want to be showing those off. Beautiful ones, on the other hand, would be perfectly fine with me!
I'm looking forward to seeing all of the parts I've sold installed on member cars! If Rob Lyall has picked a date for Gary's Run, we could get that on the calendar. What a hoot seeing it as a legit holiday!
Hey Michael, thanks for doing this. I ordered two of those calendars and can hardly wait for them to come to fuition. I understand that sales are a bit slow, which I cannot understand. All these wonderful people on this site and not very many ordered calendars? That just does not compute. Come-on folks, be a part of something unique. An all MGE calendar, what can be better than that?
Edit: Just thought of something else. If the quota is not met, I'll remove all the ladies from my signature. If it is, I'll try to add some more.
I just ordered mine! Looking forward to the high res photos Michael!
Thanks again for all the work you have put into it.
Chris, great idea about getting the date for Gary's Run on the Calenders...Have you tryed to contact Rob?
Come to think of it since there will be a "Brits in The Sticks" run next year it would be great to have it on also. I'll PM Chris.
Cheers
Paul
I've ordered mine. It will be hanging on my wall at work. But only if enough orders are received. Come on guys and gals! lets get our orders in so we can make this calender happen! The price seems pretty reasonable to me. I don't have any high res. pictures of my B but I'll see if I can borrow a camera.
I also ordered mine and a couple extra. Have to have one hanging in the garage and home for sure.
Just seeing high res photos of MGB's from members of this forum is worth the money, plus vendor information all in one place.
I think it would be so cool to see everybodys MGB in the date Boxes.
Ray
We've just ordered another calendar to give as a Christmas gift to our friend who did all the body work and paint on our car. We don't know if any of our pictures will meet approval from the art department, but hope so. Just in case, we are getting a couple date box pictures. One of the car when we first bought it and one of the finished car 2 1/2 years later.
Come on, guys, at least order a calendar! If everyone who is on the forum would order at least one, Michael could reduce the costs as you know there are a lot more than 150 of you out there. Also, please send in your pictures. I don't think everyone would want to see a calendar with a Yellow B in every month because we were the only ones to send in photos! >:D< The price is really pretty reasonable for a quality calendar with ALL MG's! OUR MG'S!
Barb & Joe
I think I was one of the first to order one. I think, maybe, well ... sorta.
Everyone else who hasn't ordered, you need to pony up and get one, or two or twelve!!
Would hate to miss out on this just because their aren't enough ordered.
Do it Now! Please.
Cheers,
Tim
Hey Paul, Sure hope you have sent in a few pictures, especially of your beautiful yellow GT. And your red B would be great, too! We have one of both cars together at Brits in the Sticks, but bet you have some better ones. Good idea to get the date for Gary's run AND for next years' Brits in the Sticks. Don't know if any dates are set, yet, for other events in the NW, but hope others post events. For sure MG2011 dates should be on the calendar!
Barb
Thanks for all the effort Micheal. Hey guy's Ask your local club to join in on this calender, We all know there are allot more MG owners out there.... That would Like a calender. Might be good for membership!!! maybe a little advertising. They can increase their membership. Then their are all the vendors out there.
Okay when is Bronte British car day Next year 2011.
Come on everyone this is a great idea, I ordered mine as soon as I heard about it lets make it happen.
Cheers
Paul
I just emailed Rob. If it is in Canada, it would be the Memorial Day weekend if all goes according to historic trends. But, he is holding the rod of connection now!
Brits in the Sticks would be another great addition to the calendar!
Before I buy something like this, I like to know where this money goes and who does it support. Is this calendar money going back into this site or someones pocket ?
I can't wait to see all the MGB's in the calendar. I think this is a great idea and it supports all of us. Come on guys order calendars. Thanks Mike.
Hi Tom Lowe,
Check out the link below and part way down on the first page you will find a post by "spikemichael" (Caputo) outlining what he is doing as far as making this calendar. There may have been some modifications to his original idea as the posts went on, so it may be worthwhile to read the whole thread.

Hi Tom,
Since there is absolutely no cost to producing a high quality, spiral bound, completely custom, full color calendar and ship them to 150 different locations, using PayPal as a collection tool, all the money will go to North Korea to purchase and launch Nuclear Missiles into Harp Seal breeding grounds to control their population.
Oh Boy....
Just hit the 33.3333333% point, yes calendar #50!
This poses a little interesting spot for me.
I have quietly offered milestone people something special...
Now hitting #50 I find that it is a name that was also # 8.
This person has already arranged for two date box lines, two calendars and two mini car photos.
I don't know what to offer him, BUT he has inspired me!
Thank You Joe!
I will subsidize the insertion of mini car photos for the purchaser of #60, 70 and so on all the way to #150.
I am going back to # 10, 20, 30 and 40 and offering to do the same!
Ya know the wife says if I keep subsidizing this little venture I might as well just give them away... Can't do that.
Vote... Should I put the "Passenger Burn" photo in the calendar on her birthday? (Search Passenger Burn in the search box)
#1 Michael (not me)
#10 John
#20 William (I think the PM i sent you said a different number)
#30 Chris
#40 Ray (by default, he bought a bunch!)
#50 Joe & Barb
#60
#70
#80
#90
#100
#110
#120
#130
#140
#150
#151 gets something really special!
I just ordered mine, I just wish I had some hi-res pics to send.
I really enjoyed the previous Calender....even though the Low Res shots were a touch fuzzy.
This one will be Great having nice clear shots of the Lucky folks who have there Photos picked.
What a Great Idea to have this done.
Thanks Again Michael!
Suddenly getting some good photos, thanks everyone!
As of 20:23 Eastern Time we are at 53 calendars!
also starting to get some event dates. Please, if your club has events scheduled for 2011 send the info! no charge for MG related historical dates or event dates!
For the record,
I found that the United States Post Office lists mailing an envelope "internationally" for about $11. It also has a "Flat Rate Box" in which I believe will fit about 20 Calendars which sips for $45.
Meanwhile I continue to seek a low cost alternative to get calendars to Panama and Nicaragua the Netherlands and elsewhere.
I also found this fun game dedicated to Lucas.
http://www.hummingbirds.net/lucas/
I'm not sure if ours are hi rez or low rez, but they definitely come from the rez.
Come on guys, buy a calendar. It's really worthwhile. Like I said above, if Michael doesn't get at least 150, the girls are coming off my signature line. But, if he does, then I'll have a couple of treats for you!!!!
I like treats!
Came back to put the r in... I spelled it wrong...
michael, i'm glad to see you are doing this with the calendars. i know that last year it didn't work out but i hope we get enough orders this year. come on guys, don't you need a calender to go with your car ? even if you have to put it out in the garage, it would still look cool next to your B.
Maybe next year I'll put in a special photo of MGs next to themselves in the calendar?
Things are looking up people... really they are!
Time though is getting short, let's get those dates and photos in!
Believe it or not I am still meeting resistance on the Directory listings...
Here's the deal.
On the back of December and on the inner back cover there is... NOTHING!
So we are going to fill it with business and club listings so you can flip the calendar up and find the businesses you want to work with , their web addresses and phone numbers. It is a Directory... see?
$2 for one line, $4 for two lines... printed on all the calendars. This is as cheap as advertising gets business people!
As of last night we were at 36%
As of 4 PM today we are at 40%...
Its going in the right direction.
International Orders...
It depends on where the calendar is going but i checked Netherlands today and England... About $10 to both. We are working on distribution points for international deliveries that may reduce this substantially but in the mean time don't fret, when I know you will get an email.
Michael!
HEY does ANYONE have WINTER photos they can submit for this calendar? It would be nice to get a Christmas Tree on an MG photo or fun in the snow or SOMETHING.
Of course it is always fun to see warm places before and after freezing my butt off shoveling snow... so...
submit photos to sales@altxt.com
Michael, have you checked with UPS or FedEx letters for shipping overseas? Their rates may be better than USPS.
Barb
Hah, I have a picture of mine after the only snow drive I have ever made with it. Had the original rust and the original paint color from about 10 years ago.
Barb"
Geez, Thanks Barb......The red B is not the car yours is the C GT might be close.
I sent in a couple of photos.
Just hope that we can get the required number for a run of the Calanders.
Cheers

Just got my first winter photo... had to laugh. It isn't a particularly good photo but it was a typical MG experience.
Keep them coming.
i have a lot of photos but some of the stuff is silly. i know we are not professional photographers so I may just use some opf them anyway, but the more I have the better the calendar will be.
So how about those Directory listings?
Michael, if we need a few more orders a day or two from the deadline, please let me know. i'll order a extra 1 or 2 to give away as gifts if that is what it takes to get enough orders.
Hi Michael,
I just sent you a few new photos in case you need some more...

Hey no fair showing your submissions!!!
Some of those are nice.
We all laughed at the picture of your face in the bumper!
Saw the Opel GT my teen years dream car.
Oops sorry! I didn't realize it was supposed to be a secret. Photos deleted.
:D
Not so much a secret as a surprise.
Actually I will have the photos chosen by October 1 I hope and will notify the owners of the selected photos by PM for additional information if needed.
I think it would be awesome to have pics of the owners holding the calendar showing the photo next to the car in the photo.
Lots of smiles!
I ordered mine as soon as the calendar project was announced. I hope we get enough orders that this calendar can become a reality.
Just my 2 cents.:)
I HAD a picture with the 74.5 covered with 1 1/2' of snow but can't find it. Sorry.
This Bears Repeating
Just hit the 40 point, yes calendar #60!
I will subsidize the insertion of mini car photos for the purchaser of 70, 80, 90 and so on all the way to #150.
I am going back to # 10, 20, 30 and 40 and offering to do the same!
Ya know the wife says if I keep subsidizing this little venture I might as well just give them away... Can't do that.
Vote... Should I put the "Passenger Burn" photo in the calendar on her birthday?

Hi all, Don't forget to tell everyone you know about this calendar, whether they frequent MGE, or not. They may just want a car calendar, or want to give one as a gift to someone they know who has an MGB. I sent a notice to everyone on the local British Car club's email list and and have had some reply that they are interested. As of yesterday we weren't 1/2 way there, yet, so this will take a lot of effort on our part if we want to see our favorite cars in a calendar.
Barb
Thanks Joe and Barb,
Give them the link to the order site...

Today, Tuesday September 28 I will begin sending Paypal requests to people who bought advertisements.
PLEASE take care of these as soon as you can.
Friday October 1 I will set the final price and begin sending PayPal requests to people that bought calendars.
IF you did both you will get two requests, one for your ad(s) and one for your calendar.
If everything goes smoothly in the next 24 hours we will be "close enough" to make this a go.
If youhave not ordered yet PLEASE do so in the next three days, I will continue to accept orders after but I need numbers to work with on Friday for production to begin.
Thanks everybody who sent pics and dates and ideas.
For a first time out I think you guys did pretty darned good!
A few of you were wonderful... above and beyond...
Allow me to express my humble "Thanks"

Michael, I'll check my email today and get that to you.
Well my first Grandson was born just after midnight I never got to it Hap!
I have committed to doing these as of today.
We are not at the 150 but I think others will fall in line and I'll e-bay what's left over if I have to.
It doesn't look like the price is going to change.
At last count we were at 68, not quite half way.
I for one really want one of these.

A quick explanation to those of you ordering calendars NOW.
I didn't know if I would have enough sales so when you ordered, your credit card was not charged.
The confirmation number you receive is confirming that the order was placed, NOT THAT YOUR CARD IS CHARGED!
I repeat your credit card is not charged until you complete the PayPal request which I have not begun sending out yet.
They will (almost all) go out on Friday but certainly this weekend. You then process the request and the charge is made.
Here is the Process...
Order the calendar and any add ons...
Get a confirmation Email.
PayPal fund request follows
Complete the PayPal request
All calendars will be shipped to the USA and Canada as soon as they are printed.
International deliveries will be sent to me in bulk and I will process them individually and send them according to arrangements made with thos of you who are not USA or Canada.
Any questions call me @ 877-366-2935, PM me or email me at michael@thepromomaster.com
Well October 1 has come.
There are 7 days left to get your advertisements in..
That means:
Mini photos in a date box
Directory ads (now upgraded to business card size- please get in touch with me FAST!)
Club ads
Historical dates (free)
Personal Dates
Meeting and event Dates (free)
If you want a calendar and haven't ordered please register for your calendar HERE.
A PayPal request will show up shortly thereafter.
If you haven't got your PayPal request yet hang in there, two trade shows and premature birth of a grandson has me a little behind schedule.
Thanks for all the Photos guys (and gals)!
Mike,
Please put me down for the MGB calendar as well. I have a B & GT. I will try to send you some high resolution pictures.
Thanks for your efforts.
Joe

Joe, I have sent out paypal requests to everyone who processed an order at the order site but I have not seen yours.
You have to go to www.thepromomaster.com/showroom/15039 and fill out a shopping cart (credit card not necessary because you will get a PayPal request for money. It is easy and only takes about 3 minutes.

Yes, You need to complete the PayPal request.
That is when your card will be charged.
Next year I will do this a little differently on my end so it runs smoother for you guys.
If you are interested, here is the explanation I was sending out.
Yes, you must complete the PayPal request. There were no charges made to your account when you placed your order. I was waiting for adequate pre-sales to accumulate and didn't want to possibly process seventy or a hundred refunds for the exact same amount.
To create this ordering site I used existing software for my advertising agency. It expects orders for 5000 pens or 10,000 bumper stickers. It has no idea what to do with an order for $20. Normally we take the credit card number as an earnest deposit but since the prices are adjusted for a number of reasons I will set up terms with a company by the time the product is manufactured and delivered. under those circumstances they do not want it charged to the corporate credit card anyway. The processing of cards automatically by the shopping cart is turned "off" by default.
The showroom collected credit card numbers as a token of your interest. It did not process any sales. The PayPal Request is for $19.50, not the $20.50 we had anticipated. It would have been a nightmare to refund a bunch of one dollar bills.
PLEASE COMPLETE THE PAYPAL REQUEST.

Hi Michael,
I'm slightly confused about now using paypal to pay for my calender. The credit card I used when I ordered originally is not the credit card that is used with my paypal account. I have now made a payment through paypal per your email request and want to be sure you will not also be charging to my original credit card number that I used when I ordered the calender.
Thanks, Mike
You got it Mike.
The card at order is like a reservation.
The Paypal is the actual charge.
You do not have to use the same card.
I have not processed today's batch but I believe yours is in there.

Meanwhile sales continue.
FWIW we are at #119.
Mike, I tried to order tonight but it appears the link has gone bad. I kept getting an error message from your website that stated "I'm sorry. That showroom doesn't exist. Please check the address and try again (ERR: SAGE-WebExpress Pro Showroom)
Let me know when it gets corrected and I'll get my order in.
Clayton
Fixed!
I am SO SORRY!
I was so tied up with Tamara's surgery recovery I didn't notice that it expired.
I had it set so that on the 15th you couldn't add pictures or lines of text but the software took it to mean the whole thing expired instead of just those items!
Its all set.
Order Up!
Got your order at about 3:30 this afternoon Clayton, Paypal notified me at 6 that you were paid!
You are all set!
Thanks for the support.

Just came active tonight (this morning really because it is 3:30 AM) Try it!
I promised to post the calendar cover today and here it is.
The art staff universally voted this picture as the cover photo.
Kudos Chris Gill!
Michael,
We are so glad you chose that picture! When we first heard about this calendar, I said that Chris' picture from Gary's Run should be the cover shot. Chris does such good work! And what says more about the inside of the 2011 Calendar than a picture with a bunch of roadsters & GT's! It doesn't hurt, either, that our car is in it! >:D<
Barb (and Joe)
Barb you have a beautiful car.
I can't wait to hear the reactions to this calendar. I am sitting on pins and needles waiting out the prepress process. I will see a proof but it won't be the same as getting the first one in my hands.
FWIW, one of your photos was used as a car of the month picture but I ain't tellin which until I see the pre-production proof.

Go to the web site, use the info request button and place how many additional calendars you need in the quantity box. Under NOTES tell me how many TOTAL you want (if you know... I suppose some people ordered so many they have no idea how many are arriving but that would be another story altogether LOL)
I will make the necessary adjustments and send you the PayPal request.
Michael
Hi Michael, Maybe we are missing something, but we've checked both forums and don't see any new posts from you. Also, don't see any new info posted to the two existing threads. We did notice that the pictures in your avatar seem to be flying by a little slower, so that might be what you meant? We were hoping you would be showing what was chosen for the calendar. Looks like you got a lot of great shots to choose from. We are excited that one of our pictures was chosen. Thanks!
Barb (and Joe)
There is a new thread that Skye has stickied in the MGB and GT forum. When I said there was new info, if you have already ordered it doesn't affect you unless you are ordering more.
I was supposed to have proofs this week but a snafu in how the software read the dates spreadsheet resulted in dates being consistently off by 1 day. We are resetting the entire calendar date grid! Yay! Such Fun!
The avatar has slowed down. I will pull out all the pics that are NOT in the calendar and slow it down again as soon as I can.
Once the calendars are committed to the press I will revert to a more standard avatar.
just in case no one noticed, I went from the superhero unstoppable force fighting the immovable object, at the beginning of this project, to the guy beating his head against the floor when I was selecting photos and begging for winter shots, to the "siezure-inducing" fast photo show to attract attention, to this slower one which has a number of unusable in the calendar photos (there are over 165 photos in this avatar a substantial reduction from the fast one)but has an obvious advertising quality to it.
Meanwhile, get your cameras out and start taking pictures for the 2012 calendar! I am collecting already.
This weekend I am on the set of a movie as a continuity consultant and script adviser, (as well as standing in for a sick boom man) so I won't have time to change the avatar.
This week the hard copy proofs will be here I can barely contain myself.
I love working on things like this!
I'll post pics by the weekend and you'll get to see my smiling face!!!
Thanks to you guys that passed on the information about the calendar to your various club members.
Great work Michael!!!!!
And thank you for choosing my photo for the cover. What a surprise!
Looking forward to seeing the end result.
Cheers,
Chris
And now my avatar has the calendar contents!
here it should be at a larger size if i can get this attachment to work!
Calendars still available, will be shipping soon.
Michael - Look Great! Can't wait to see it in real life. July looks particularly nice ;)
Barb & Joe
Gee I wonder why you would say that????
Nice photos of Bealey you sent, made it hard not to include one,
and harder still to pick only one.
Keep them coming and you might end up in 2012!
Hi Spike....
I'd like to purchase 2 calendars but I'm not that savvy on the computer.
Can you email me with a how to do it step by step?
Thanks
P.S are all the photo slots gone? "
It is very easy really...
Here it is step by step:
1 Go to www.mgbcalendar.com
2 Click on the 2011 calendar (the one on the left)
3 Scroll to the bottom and click on REQUEST QUOTE
4 Enter a 2 in the quantity field
type in any notes I may need to get them where you want them to go.
5 Click ADD TO CART
6 Click CHECK OUT
7 Fill in your name, email, address and your phone number, I may call you if there
is missing information or anything odd in your information.
I have only had to do this for a few people.
8 Click the box for email confirmation (a good idea because it gives you your
order number and a copy of your order by email.)
9 Click on SEND CART
A little while later you will receive a payment request from PayPal which will have a link that takes you to a secure site where you can pay for the calendars with a variety of credit cards or with an E-Check. You will receive a receipt for your payment at that point your credit card will be charged.
That's it!
Oh and yes all the photo slots are gone for 2011.
You can send anything you want for the 2012 calendar any time you like.
Photos go to photos@mgbcalendar.com
Event submissions are free. Send them to events@mgbcalendar.com
Historical notes are also free. send them to history@mgbcalendar.com
Thanks for asking.

May seem early but the 2012 advertising rates and calendar pre-sale are all posted at www.mgbcalendar.com

Merry Christmas To All!
michael
My calendars arrived today, thanks Michael for your effort!
I'll have to do better photographing next season to see about getting my B in the calendar. :)-D
Jeff your photos were not bad.
The process left a lot of photos on the table.
We pulled photos for seemingly small problems like "look at that (fill in the blank) in the background" and the photo was pulled from consideration. The Envelope photo is of a factory V8 GT, of the 10 or so photos, all high res, it was the only one that did not have something in the background that made it unusable.
Out of the photos we got about 70 were high enough resolution to work with. The truly high resolution photos stood out in the crowd. (See March's photo for example) Then there was the situation where we had 8 photos that were great for one month but didn't work for any other month so only one could be used... until we got to June and used four.
Then I assembled three members of the art department and did A-B comparisons to drop the candidates to about 30. From there I sat with a new member of the art department who incidentally is an MG affectionado (though not an owner) and he picked out a few standout concepts because of what they said to his wrench turning brain (see November's "Thanksgiving" and a 300,000 mile MG, and May's "perfect time to start a paint job" as two examples.) Some were natural selections for the month, like January's snowfall on a top-down MGB and April's Yellow car in the fog.
When the chips all fell there were some really nice photos left over. Which may just give me a head start on 2012.
Hope you didn't take what I said the wrong way! I am sure you got more quality pictures than you could fit and I completely understand how those pictures on bright sunny days wouldn't be a top pick for winter months! Of course, I am sure that style photo was the bulk of what you had received which made competition for the central warmer months even more challenging.
I've got my calendars hanging already and have gotten a few comments around my cube at work already!
just in case you are still wondering, the way we always do...
Yes there are still calendars available.
