Stay the course is a slogan for runners, not for wars.

Until Obama decides what the mission is it is all speculation. I would think if Obama can wait a little and get the word out amongst the Congressmen in the article he will get himself off the pointy end of the stick he is on. He would love to leave tomorrow.

If he is going to continue to just dither I would rather he just suck it up and do what is in his heart and pull everyone out of both Iraq and Afghanistan and bring them home. Declare defeat blame it on the Bush failed plan to leave Afghanistan for Iraq and millions just like you two knuckle heads will rejoice.

Then he can just dust off the Clinton plan and go on defense and work his ass off trying to derail all the atttempts to cause us harm. About 2012 he can really cut back on defense spending and move that money to domestic programs. Unfortunately we know that when you are fighting a defensive action against an enemy that wants to attack, you have to take the first punch. I only hope none of my friends and relatives are in the the way of that first punch.

Once the punch is thrown I am not sure what he does next. I would assume he will dispatch the FBI and look for the perp but not much more.

Which mission are you talking about. The Iraq 2 missions we got right and have almost completed the mission. The Bush Afghanistan mission was not complete and it was handed over to Obama after his election. He chose to continue the Bush mission at least until 2 months ago. Now we don't know what the mission is. We are waiting for Obama to tell us. He does not have a clue. So I am not sure what the heck you are talking about.

But as I said in my earlier post, Obama should do what you say and bring them home and declare defeat. Why lose another life for Obama and his mystery mission.

Iraq we got right? Richard, really? Murdering a populace based on lies is getting it right? Bush had 7 years to focus on chasing a CIA spook through the mountains.. He failed. What was the Bush mission? Even the generals didnt know what the mission was or the goals.. man stop revising history.

What will we win? What is winning, how do you measure that? When we kill every turbin wearing goat herder?
