One of my buds sent me an email with the attached pictures of a 1964 Midget that he knows is 4 sales for $600.00. I'm assuming the car is in the DFW area of Texas. If anyone is really intersted in this car send me an email and I'll try to get you the owners contact information. According to my friend the car is complete, engine turns, wheels turn, perfect floors and rust free.

I can be contacted at casamini@hotmail.com

That's not a '64...methinks a '67 or '68

Padded dash. At least a '68.

It looks like it may have parts from several years on it. Earlier style front wings with the higher parking/turn lights could be from any year 64-68. The thermostat housing is later (1275) style, and the crankcase breather is newer style. It has the newer style master and clutch master cylinders. Seats look 66-68ish?, newer padded dash. It also has Air Pollution tubes in the head that indicate 68 or newer. hmmmm................

I agree it is not a 64. The Inst. panel is a 1970. My 67 doesn't have the emission stuff on the engine like this one. Looking at the rust might have been under water at some time.

The chassis is pre '70. Only two wipers, and the older style hood hinges. But the dash and the cylinder head at least is '70 or later. Looks like the windshield could be from a late car too, not sure when sun visors were added. '71 I think. It's hard to tell if the cockpit is the fold down top post '66 or the earlier roll up window/"erector set" top with that hardtop in place.
For $600 its got to be a buy if in fact it's solid and everything turns.

Ha, it should tell you how long we've all starred at a repair manual
or how often we secretly look at each others cars in the registry. ;)

Due to the keen eyes of the board members I had my friend contact the owner to confirm year model and it's supposed to be a 1968 not a 1964. I have the owners name and phone number if anyone is interested in this vehicle. It's located in the City of Euless, Texas which is right next to the DFW airport.
