No relation, just thought this was interesting. It's local to me so if anyone would like me to test drive, I'd be happy to help out ;)

I think that car will not bring anywhere near what the owner is asking. I sure wouldn't want it for 1/3 that price.

If I wanted an old sports car that had more power than an MGB 4 cylinder, I would opt for something like the 240Z that is on BaT now.

You can enjoy the car, and when selling time comes, not lose your shirt.

Not much of a description offered for such a price listing. If it has any decent power, I wonder how the wires hold up? With the T10, his final gear is 1:1, probably doesn't cruise very well.

Small-block Chevy V-8 heads are typically identified by both the casting number, which is under the valve cover similar to the casting numbers on our cylinder heads, and also by the shape of a raised boss on the vertical end surface of the head, easily viewed even on an installed engine. The earliest SBC heads of the mid-1950s had a simple rectangle on the end, about one inch by three inches. The so-called Power Pack heads added a triangular point to the rectangle, and the dual four-barrel engines had two vertical spikes instead of the triangle. And the fuel injection heads had a single vertical spike.

Starting in the early 1960s, a new family of cylinder heads was introduced that had two semicircles on the rectangle, and these became known as the "camel hump heads," since they were easily identified and distinguished from earlier heads with just a glance. While some believe all camel hump heads were fitted with the larger 2.02 intake valves, in fact they could have been fitted with either 1.94 or 2.02 valves from the factory, and could easily be converted from the smaller to the larger by any capable machine shop.

Waaaaaaaaaaaay more than you ever wanted to know... :I3:

The double hump head was the early small block chevy performance heads, two versions 1.95 intake and 2.02 intake. The small valve were oe 327 performance motors, the big valve first year I believe was the z28 302 heads.
