To convert my 66 B to overdrive, I need to find a good driveshaft from a 68 on car.

Any close by Ontario members have one?

I'm near Guelph.

Thanks.

I'm in Oregon and have one. Came off a 70'. Looks to be in good shape.

Let me know.

I saw two or three in Bronte Robert. Not that it helps you now. :(

I guess I didn't have drive shafts on the brain when I was at Bronte. Had some other parts to look for.

I'm in no big hurry for one, but will buy it when I can.

Thanks for the offer, Andrew. I'd prefer not to have to pay shipping, but...

PS I love the photo of the red GT you have - fantastic looking car.

I have a couple of them, but not sure from what year. How would I tell the diff?? I know one of 'em is off an old '71 B parts car I bought (and stripped) years ago. I have LOTS of stuff to unload if you need stuff. Sold the house (and garage) where I was keeping all my B parts. Ask for anything, make a cheap offer on anything, & I'll send you pics on anything. Bring a trailer and I'll make it worth your while...

Thanks.........

I assume you realize that the non O/D and O/D driveshafts are the same length.

Who, me?

Yes, after '67 or '68 non-od and od are the same length. Before that, they are different.

My car is a 66, and the od drive shaft is longer, and is the same length as the newer 67/68+ years.

Ok. Brain finally clicked into gear. Must be a sticky solenoid.

I don't need a solenoid :-) At least, not a sticky one.
