Hi all,
I'm trying to replace one of the turn signal indicator bulbs in the dash of my 69. Can't seem to get the old one out - any tips?
On another note, has anyone fashioned their own horn mounting brackets? Doesn't sound too difficult but I'd appreciate any tips and or photos.
Cheers,
Martini

Aren't the turn signal bulbs in sockets that push into a tube??
That's what I thought but I can't seem to get it out - I wondering if its screwed in or something.
Shane. The 69 turn signal bulb holders have steel fingers that are snapped into the alloy retainers. Pull the tail of the bulb holder to one side to unsnap one edge.

A firm twist and pull should pop the socket out. Next change is the bulb head does no twist off. The you will need needle noise pliers to get the bulb base out. If you can change all the bulbs while you are back there.

Anyone have a shot of the stock horn brackets?
Cheers!

I should have one in the basement. I'll take some dimensioned shots for you... stand by...
This ought to be enough to fab them up. Material is about .09" thick. Around 12 gauge I guess.:
