The shocks don't work, the tires are bad, it looks awful, the metal work is only half done, and it smokes.

It failed inspection due to the smoke, but they did let me get a temp tag.

I bought the car on July 5th of 1999 and at least it will be drivable for the 10th anniversary of ownership!

Great Anthony, A rolling resto is far far better than a garage Queen...... Temp Tag? Don't think there available up here.

Well worth the effort, eh Anthony?

In the 17 years I've owned mine I've rebuilt engine, carbs, and brakes; replaced fuel tank, rear leafs, carbon canister, & added stainless exhaust. Recently retrofitted correct (electronic) SU fuel pump, and Schlemmerized the dizzy. 15years ago converted to wire wheels by swapping rear axles and front hubs. This past fall and spring replaced entire interior and carpeted boot, put new vinyl on radio panel, purchased five new tires, and stripped and painted with new racing green.

It's great. I love this car and will never part with it. The fun never ends!!!

BRAVO! I got a couple of images of that car w/ no driver's side rockers, from two years ago.
