MGB: 76 chrome conversion

I'm thinking of selling my child, the one I've taken from death to resurrection. Beautiful 76 chrome conversion. Have many photos of restoration. Bad time of year and economy but the latter dictates. Thoughts?

If practical, keep it.

Doubtful you'll get your money out of it. If possible, sell the practical car. They are more easily traded around. You might get lucky with the right buyer, but more likely not.

But there are many things far more important than a car. I know once my kids are in college I may well be faced into dumping Bs as a form of paying for college. I even told myself buying my 65 was something I could unload later to pay to help pay for my kids' college expenses.

My son's a senior. I am getting nervious about having to sell every time I go for a drive now. The 529 I've funded is way down over the past month.

She's a real beauty and you've put a lot of hard work and money into her. If you have explored all alternative solutions and still come up with the same conclusion, you know what you have to do. But, only you can make that final call.

I don't see any quick recovery in our economy on the horizon, no matter which candidate is elected. So we all do what we gotta do.

If you really have to Ray, put a ridiculous price on her. You can rationalize if she doesn't sell that you were meant to keep her and if she does, you've done your part in keeping values up for the rest of us.

A difficult decision. Sometimes it is better to have food on the table though.
