Can I remove my engine WITHOUT taking the gearbox out also. In other words, can I seperate things at the bell housing and just pull the engine? Thanks gary

yes, but they say it is easier with both. now i'm not sure if that means, its harder to get the engine back in or not, without the tranny.

yeah, you can disconnect the tranny from the engine when their both in the car then pull the engine out. I've never done it but from what I can tell from pulling off the tranny from the engine on my work bench its going to be hard to do that in the engine bay. Just pull them out together, I think its going to save you time and work.

Not to mention much easier to install them as a unit, rather than try to align the engine and tranny while the engine is dangling from the lift.
