Has anyone seen an additional toggle switch located to the left side of the overdrive switch? We can't seem to find what it goes to!

It was probably for an aftermarket driving light or something. I have no knowledge of it being a factory item.

Could you be refering to the instrument panel light dimmer switch? There was one located near either the wiper or directional stalk on the 70gt I used to own. I can't remember which side.
