Greetings All,
While looking through this months MG Enthusiast magazine, I came across an ad from http://racemettleltd.co.uk/dyn.html. They sell an alternator that looks just like a generator. It not only puts out more current, but weighs in at less than half of an original generator.
I was wondering if anyone in the US might have used one of these or knows of where one can be had here.

In England, the price is 360 pounds (more than $600- U.S.). Don't know of anyone who would spend that much on a 40amp alternator, but it looks neat.

Thanks for the link Craig. I agree with Kimberly, that they do look neat, but I would have a hard time justifying almost $1k for an alternator.
Thanks all.

I'm in the process of converting to a GM/DELCO CS-130 unit. There's been a lot said on that subject but I will have more to add when I'm finally done.
