Having determined that my 69' does not have anchor points on the wheel wells and that I do have anchor points on my sills, I'm trying to find the hard to find seatbelt used for this 3 point setup. From what I have been able to determine they were Kangol belts - my question for you experts out there is does anybody happen to know the Kangol product number for the correct belts. The reason I ask is there are some Kangol belts on ebay but I'm not sure they are the right ones.

Thanks in advance

Do you have the attachment bolt assemblies for the deck?

These seat belts were used from 1968 through 1970 (1971?) in the North American market. Most/all will need rewebbed for safety purposes...what you really need is the belt hardware (and the old belt for a pattern.

If you will PM me the item number (or the link), I'll look at them.

Here's a picture of the anchor and the belt hardware. :

Those are the correct style...ALMOST. The hardware on the shoulder belt as shown would NOT allow you to disconnect the belt in order to put the top up/down. (Compare to the picture that I posted.)

Note that it has a plastic housing to cover the top anchor bolt. Probably designed for a Jag or Mercedes sedan.

Looks like he does include the belt hangers that go on the side of the cockpit by the seatback to store the belts when not in use.

Keep looking...the correct belts show up periodically.

You could also contact Tony Barnhill at http://www.theautoist.com He has a large collection of spares.

Later!
