Why does the intake hose for the anti run on valve go all the way through a hole in the radiator support to the front of the car? Can the hose be removed to clean up the engine bay? I would still keep the arov functional - just get rid of the hose.
Thanks

I believe mine just drops straight down near the starter. It's just open to the ambient air so it doesn't matter.

You may not need it at all. Try disconnecting one of the wires from the top of the valve and driving that way for a while. If you have no run-on, you can remove the whole setup. It is not an emissions related component, so even in states with strict smog laws, you can remove it and still pass.
