While I am waiting for my workshop manual, I had a few questions (and probably will be posting more soon). Does anyone have any pics of how to connect the fuel pump? Thanks

I'm not too sure how that helps me... I just need to see a picture of it connected so that I know what it looks like. If anyone could help with this that'd be great.
I just put one in yesterday.
The fuel pump sits inside a rubber sleeve that you tighten the brackets around. The connectors end of the fuel pump is the one closest to the battery box. There are two connection points on the pump, one marked In or Inlet gets connected to the line running in from the gas tank.
The Out connections go to the fuel line. Check the hose for leaks, they often are old and may need to be replaced. If so, don't discard, you may need to reuse the coupler at the end.
Make sure, no leaks and all must be tight, but not too tight. Use pipe thread when reconnecting.
Electrical, the white wire from the harness (underneath or near the passenger side battery bin) goes to the fuel pump end. There's usually a rubber sleeve over that connection screw. Then the black wire is the ground wire, and that goes to the outer trim ring of the fuel pump on the connector spade that comes with the pump.
Check the engine bay for frayed wires, which is what I have at the moment for reasons I haven't been able to trace just yet.
Good luck.
Peter
