I don't get the speed channel- at least car had no motor, but seems a waste of an MG for a few seconds thrill. :(

I was going to say "ran when parked", but there was no engine.
I had high hopes for that aluminum hood... for a few seconds.
one of my friends sent me the link to this... hard to tell what kind of condition it was in ahead of time. might have been beyond worth saving?
the ultra-slow motion is pretty cool though.
edit- just froze the first frame and zoomed in a bit... it looks lie it is really just a trashed old body shell.
It went out with a bang and an audience. Many MGs have suffered worse fates. Or, as Neil Young would put it - 'it is better to burn out than it is to rust'.
If you look carefully, I think there is a plate bolted to the bottom of the car. From an pyrotechnics effect perspective, it is pretty impressive that they were able to get the car to roll so many times in the air. Most types of filmed car explosions comprise of the 'cannister' type effect where the car simply goes upward.
