I live near Columbus, OH and there was a guy who worked on MG's, in what they referred to as the "Bottom's" west of Downtown. He made a MGB Limo.
He put the V8 engine in it, and the front driving seat area was premanently open air. He then added another MG from the windshield back, from where the trunk on the first would have been. It had 2 windshields and the top could go up on the back section.
I never took a picture of it and he went out of business years ago, and I never saw it again. Anybody out there ever see it, own it? I don't even remember the gentleman's name. He was a great mechanic and raced a V8 MGB on the weekends.
Anybody seen a MGB "Limo"

Yes...one has been in Chicago since the late '80s/early 90's. Made by Dino Perez.
is it this one ?"
I ***think*** that one was made in Minnesota. The Chicago MGB is black with tan interior.

When I did a seach that is the only only I came across, but that's not it. This was "burgundy" red color and I think black interior. If you looked from the second windshield back it looked totally stock. I fact if you looked from that second winshield up it just looked like a B with the top down(I think it had a bulge in the hood for the V8).

I think that Dino Perez's Limo is the same proportion as the one I saw, but he didn't have a custom top. It was done in the old open compartment chauffeur driven Limos of the '30s, like this Rolls Royce
Mike,
I heard he went through a divorce, and somehow it got set on fire during the divorce proceedings (I did see it sitting there as a burt out shell, but that was at least 10 years ago). I don't know what happened to it after that. I know he went out of business, and the building was torn down at least 5 years ago.

Rob,
Thanks for the info I always wondered what happen. The last time I saw him, he said he was going through a divorce and going to close, but I never saw the burt out Limo. That's too bad.
Not the best mg limo, but might be the biggesttop gear mg limo
Like this ?"
That is the left side view of Dino's MGB limo. :)
The guy was on McKinley Ave and his shop was BT Motors. I saw the "Limo" when it was bare framed but not afterwards. The guys last name I believe was Zelinski if memory serves me. He did do nice work on MG's and Morgans.
I just found an old receipt. He did a ring and valve job in 6/30/95. My car had 63,733 on it. It currently has 78,000, 14 years later.
I just check my compression yesterday hot 140/135/140/145. I was pretty happy I haven't adjusted the valve clearance for years.
Sorry for highjacking the thread but I did start it. I was hoping someone would know what happen to him. I remember he had a blind guy working for some period of time for him. He had the first BMW Isetta I had ever seen.
