Anyone running 15" wheels on their CB (or CB-height RB) MGB? Could you point me to some pictures? What size tires do you use?
Thanks!

15 inch 72 spoke , think the tire size 165 75 15 - suspension has been lowered - wheels are from a 67 CGT.
Saab Shelby wheels with Sumitomo HTR200's 195/60/15

The 67 with 4.5x15 60 spokes;

These are the old wheels
15 by 6. with 24 positive offset with performance superlites
Backspacing is 1mm less than 4.5 inches.
195 by 60 Michelin xm1's
And here are the razzel dazzel new Dayton knockoffs
these are a 15 by 6 inch
Backspacing on wheel 4.63. After dental drive adapter final back space 4.5
That translates as a 25mm positive offset counting the hub adaptor. The hub adaptor subtracts 1/8th" so the wheel itself is very close to 28mm positive
And here's a close up. There is about 10mm clearance to the guard and about one inch from wheel to bumpstop.
The wheel width from outer edge of rim to edge of rim is slightly less than 7 inches so the rim widths must be less than the usual half inch.
Guards are unaltered standard factory issue,
Tyres are 195 by 60's, Michelin XM1 pluses.
Here's the hub adaptor, if you're interested
A late edit-I should add the huge teeth on the periphery make these wires suitable for use with V8 engines. They are very strong and I am anticipating that they will never wear or develop the "clunk" that rudge spline do.
15" 72 Spoke chrome/stainless Daytons. Falken ZE 912 in 185 65 15.

!5" wheels for MGBs for us sell maybe 9 to 1 over 14" wheels, so many people pick 15" over the 14" that we at one time even had thoughts about not even making a 14" wheel, but decided to go ahead with it. You have more tire choice with 15", and more clearence over the tie rods, it actually is a better fit for the car than the 14". I tend to conservatively recommend tire sizes due to being a wheel distributor, 185/65/15 looks nice on the wheel and car and tends to guarantee the least chance of any tire rub, bit many have sucess with 195/60/15, I'm looking a the 195/60/15s for my new 15" wheels on my car.
Bob,
I have 15" KN Minilite copies , with 175/65 R15 currently. Also have had Yokahoma 195/55 R15 AVS100, and Kuhmo 195/60 R15. The 195's would rub unless the parhard bar was installed.
Lloyd never been a fan of chrome wheels (or really well polished) but your car looks sharp.

MGCs and MGC-GTs had 15" wheels stock. You can probably google some pictures of those.
You can find hundreds of pictures of 15" wheels on MGB's, with tire information too, here: Modified MGB Photo Gallery
I personally run Falken Azenis RT-615 tires (205/50, 20.4# new) on Panasport 8-spoke wheels (15"x6", -22mm offset, 15.0# each, polished rim).

Got to hand it to you Americans, you've got some bloody nice countryside. Good photos
Thanks, got them from Hap, sent to Calif. for chrome.
