Hey, and it's a deal too, it got a fresh SCCA limited prep 1275 engine in it, I did alot of the components in the engine, tony assembled it, it's got 4-5 weekend form new SC/CR gearbox, 3 locked diffs, all the right ratio, 2 sets of revolution Wheels on slicks, and one set of Minitors on rains, electromotive crankfire ignition, autometer gauges, big front braks, WC rear disc brake, WC double bearing rear hubs, VW radirotr and oil cooler, all aeroquip, tilton pedals w/ balance bar, legal SCCA cage, nice fire system, Kirky seat, ATL fuel cell with holley pump and regualtor, freshly built HS2 carbs, legal for HP calls, it has adjustable coil spring tube shock fornt end fully cam adjustable, bottm jack screw weight jacker, brake cooling cans, rear coil overs, with a panhard bar, nice as hell paint job. The main deal about this car is is handles and brakes like a mo-fo, MIke Miller of comptune, i let him drive one time, told me was the best Midget he ever drove, i guess so i beat him enought with it :) it was the 2000 SARRC champion and constat podium national finisher in SEDIV natioal races, and pretty much won about every regional it ever run, I won 7 races with that car in 2000, botom line it's great car for somneone looking for SCCA Midget. Tony wants $7000 for it, thats a steal, he's too busy with his shop to go racing, he's also selling trick autocross Mini as well. I didn't already have a car it would tempting to me. I have no interest in the car as far as selling it, other than Bamm Bamm gets a good home.
Looks like Bamm Bamm sold on Ebay for $8000, somebody got a great little race car.

Hap, here's hoping that Fred's B gives you great memories too. Based on what I know about the guy who built it and the guy who developed it, it can't miss.
Don
Thanks Don.
Fred, I have not talked to Tony in several weeks, I'll call him Monday and talk to him to see who ended up with Bamm Bamm, I'm sure who ever bought will be in touch with me at some point. I found out about it pretty ironicly, I had dental surgery Friday and my parodonist has a old Land Rover and knows Tony and had looked at the race car himself, he told me it had recently sold on Ebay. I think for today's market, Tony got a fair price, he would have sold for less than it brought on Ebay.
I had a similar thought on what he got through eBay. If only I had unlimited space and resources :)

You and me both brother B-)
Fred the car ended up in your neck of the woods, the guy's name is Ethan Zlock, he lives in PA. and plans on using the car for hillclimbs.
He must be in the Hershey, York area on the more eastern side of PA. There are several hill climbs in that area. Too bad.
Scranton is the hillclimb capitol of the NE as home to the Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association, with Giants Dispair, Weatherly, and a few other events close by. Maybe the new owner will get the wheel to wheel bug for next year when if/when the PHA runs on teh Jefferson whch is traditionally the same weeknd as the Labor Day Double. The furthest west PHA gets is Cumberland (Flintstone) MD which is hosted by Steel Cities Region, so there are some hillclimb guys in western PA.
