Battery Shelf Cover

Does anyone know where you can buy a nice battery shelf cover by itself? I remember seeing them years ago but at least at Moss I cannot find one without having to buy the entire carpet set.

Rodney what a timely post! I JUST ordered a custom- made shelf mat from this great carpet co in Anniston AL, Auto Custom Carpet www.accmats.com 1-800-633-2358. Stacey Shierling (ext.265) worked closely with me by phone for my floor mats - they're gorgeous and done to my specs (pic) Yeah they're pricey but I GOT what I paid for and damn fast :) THe rear mat is running me $120 - same MG logo and same leatherette black binding. If that's in the budget call her soon shes great.

VB used to do matching front mats and battery cover in black with the MG logo stitched in white.

I don't know if they still do them.

There was a set in my 1970 MGB when I bought it. Nice, and a good idea.

Cover? Carpet or metal? Big difference. If you mean carpet, any top shop/auto carpet shop can make up a really nice one for you. And it can be customized any way you want it. Should cost very little money. And they can install the snaps for you if you leave the car there for them to adjust them to fit right.

If you mean something other than the carpet, that metal one with the two separate flip-up openings is kind of cool. But you'd still need carpeting over it.

VB has them for $80 with logo (15-950), or $25 without (9-1419-BL)
