While at the "Brits by the River" show today, Blake Sonniers sister got a call that her son was involved in a bad motorcycle accident. He had to be airlifted to a hospital where he is undergoing surgery right now. Please keep Blake, his sister and their families in your prayers...

That's terrible. Hopefully the fact that he made it to the hospital for surgery is a good sign.

Thanks guys..
I wish I could report that all was good but it's not to be... My 27 year old nephew and the father of 3 kids ..the youngest turns 1 year tomorrow, didn't make it....
I have little use for motorcycles and even less now... He was not in the wrong.. a car turned across his lane and that was it.... Thankfully his mother and father were able to get there in time...
Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers...

Blake, so sorry to hear of your loss, motorcycles have taken a few folks close to me as well, so I know your pain all too well. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Blake,
We are all saddened to learn of your loss, and of three innocent kids who will grow up not knowing their dad because of someone else's carelessness. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

TELL EVERY YOUNG PERSON WITH KIDS YOU KNOW TO SPEND $30 A MONTH ON ANY KIND OF LIFE INSURANCE THAT THEY CAN AFFORD... AT LEAST MORTGAGE INSURANCE.... My wife had spoken to them a few months ago, but it didn't register...

Blake, I'm so sorry to hear that, Our prayers and thoughts go out to you, your sister and family. I know in times like this, not much can be said to relieve the pain, but just know that he is now being taken care of, and that you have the support of lots of good folk here on this board. God Bless

I am so sorry to hear the result, Blake. I don't blame you or anyone else for feeling the way you do about motorcycles, especially now. I have ridden my fair share as someone's passenger, but just never could get interested in owning one. I saw a man get hit and killed on one as a young boy and I suppose those images have shaped my interest in them. My heart goes out to you and your family, Blake, and may God comfort you and keep you and yours in His hands.
