Can the cover for the heater blower motor be removed so the cases can be powder coated? On my 79 MGB my blower motor is shot, and I already powder coated the heater box. I would like to "disassemble" the blower motor & then install new "guts" I removed 2 small nuts that run through the motor housing but nothing budges.

Does the motor come apart, or is it a 1 piece unit?

Everything comes apart one way or another! :D

I know the motor can be disassembled - it has to be split to service it....but I don't know the details....

That is EXACTLY where my problem lies, Ever since I was 3 I could take apart anything :)
