Spridget Tech Talk (MG Midget & Austin-Healey Sprite)
A little over two years ago I sold my 79 Inca Yellow Midget to forum member tinymg. I regretted selling it about as soon as he drove off in it but I knew it was going to a good home. Well as fate would have it, he put it up for sale and I have bought it back. I will pick it up next weekend.
I am glad to not only have a Midget again but more excited to have my old one back. The MGB just didn't look right sitting the without a stable mate ;)

I don't remember exactly what I sold it for but I "think" I actually gave less for it but hey, I am almost 52 years old - sometimes I don't remember what I did last week, much less over 2 years ago :D

That is awesome and I am so happy for you. I wish I could get my '69 Olds Cutlass back but it will never happen since it was junked after I sold it. What a shame for such a pretty piece of muscle. It does remind me of the awkward moment at a gas station when I pulled in and the new owner of the car was filling it up. I don't remember who said it first but it really is a lot like seeing an ex with a new guy.

Rut, I wish I had known you would be in Huntsville tonight(Tuesday), the North Alabama British Motoring Society (NABMS) had our monthly meeting tonight and afterwards the beer drinkers go to another bar for a second meeting. You would have enjoyed being with all of us Brit gearheads.

Thanks, I ended up at Old Heidleberg for dinner listening to a lot of folks discussing guns and Blackhawks. I understand that there is some big military aircraft trade show at Redstone this week and the guys were talking about flying around in different ones...very cool.
