What is the correct location of the" British Leyland " badge that goes on the front fenders? Any good pictures? I know some have 2 and some have 1.

I don't have an answer for you, my cars in storage, but I would like to add to the question. I have a '73 and only have one. I bought it in '83 and it had one and I always wondered if it was suppose to have 2?
My original 74 has one on the passenger side centered about 3-1/2 inches in front of the door and 3 inches down from the chrome strip.
Kent,
Brian is correct but maybe only about 2" below the chrome strip and about 3 1/2" in front of the door, see photo, and Mike yes they only had one.
Reportedly, one is correct. I believe that to be from Clauseger. Thats from memory do a search.
I also think it was a dealer application like wing mirrors and radio antennae. So dimensions may vary!
I have an unmolested '73 with 2 badges! And another '73 w/1badge. hmmmmmm.
Measurement to the center of badge on mine is 2 1/2" down from bottom of chrome strip and 2 1/2" in front of
door seam.
RS
My 72 had only right side 2-1/2" down, 2-1/2" from door.
Seems like some have reported years with both.

My 71 has them on both sides.
I believe the second badge was eliminated as a cost savings measure. Single badge placed on the right wing of the car.
What is the correct location of the" British Leyland " badge that goes on the front fenders? "
Location depends on what kind of a day Nigel was having...if he had a rough night the badge could even be upside down.
Both sides cars 1969 through 1972, then right side only. '69 thru '72 badge was silver on blue background. After 72 reversed to blue on silver.
And recently, GM seems to have copied the idea with a little square fender emblem of thier own.
