The cam that is used in the 3.4 as is installed in the Camaro - Firebird, is a very good profile. Just think about the 3400 lb Camaro. The cam produces a very flat torque curve.
If using the FI then the stock cam is correct. I would add a set of 1.6 roller rockers and that would be it with the stock ECU.
If are planning on using a Megasquirt or Motes emulator, then a bit more of duration and lift in the cam would be ok. This will require some tuning with your lap top to enjoy the cam.
Cam changes the output rpm range so keep this in mind. The more duration you use the higher the rpm for the power to come in.
Crane is back in business and they have several cams for the V6. They have one or two cam profiles that could be used with the stock ECU. It is best to give them a call.

Mike,

The stock camshaft specs and various aftermarket cam specs can be found here -> http://www.60degreev6.com/content/Gen_3_Camshafts

I agree with the advice given - if you plan on leaving the rest of the engine stock, the cam need not be changed.

I went with a Crane 272, which is at the top of the range for stock compression, but I didn't mind losing some bottom end torque and I did a lot of work on the breathing on the top end of the motor.

PS - the caps key is shouting. Were you angry when you posted? ;)
