Well here it is , FINALLY !! I don't think you can tell that much about the color , its very similar to the background color you type in while posting . Its kinda a bone/eggshell/beige/offwhite beige color , Harvest Moon Beige is the legal name .

The interior is going to be red with white piping . I plan on having the wheels blasted and painted the closest to chrome I can find . The tires will eventually be wide whitewalls , I know some people can't stand them but I like em' !

I also had the fellow paint the top of the dash where vinyl originally was , I had seen a couple like that and liked it .

Once my dad finally gets out of the hospital and feeling better , we start putting the sucker back together , hopefully going for the first drive before the new year , weather permitting of course ! ;)

Nice job!

I like your choice of interior colors as well. There's just something about piping that's so classic.

What year is that?

Looks Great!
I'm a fan of white walls and they will go well with your overall scheme of things.

If you want to consider powdercoating the wheels, they can come pretty darn close to chrome, more like a very shiny aluminum. Paint looks great!

Just beautiful - I love pastel colors on the early cars. With wide whites it will be stunning.

I had wanted new tires , kinda need them kinda don't. I suggested to dad the whitewalls , he said he thought they would look good and I should get em' . I told him money for new tires wasn't in the "budget " , he said get them anyway , he would pay for them , I said , its a deal ! He also thought chrome wires would look good , I told him I thought so too , I told him the price of those , he said , painted looks good too .

Nicely done!!

You answered my question in from another post about how wood on white would look. Is your dash solid or a veneer application? I really like it.

Very nice colour indeed! And THAT is a very nice wood dash. Normally they don't do anything for me, but that one looks very good in the car.

It is a veneer . The dash , when I got the car , had a wood material on it , my dad thought it was supposed to have , he had some veneer and put it on when I was at work one day , I liked it so its stayed .

The girl is my wife of a month and a half , shes a fireball from Colombia .

That looks great, Eric. I too am a fan of the body coloured dash top and yours is terrific.
The wood dash looks good too.
I'd love to see further pics as you are obviously going to be mobile before me.

It looks great! I'm sure if my memory is correct, MG Mitten or somebody sold wood dash kits for Mk1 B's. The color is great, red w/white will look terrific in there.... makes me re-think my color ideas.

Third picture is best. Car looks great. Always listen to Dad, then follow your own heart. Can't be to far astray from his own. He will be proud of you if you if you do quality work. Help Dad with his MGB when he gets one. That would be the fether in your hat. MGBs may be the link between generations. Then again, it may be the penis inhancers.
