Charlotte NC this weekend

Who else is going to the swap meet and AACA National Car show at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend? Susan and I are taking the two BGTs for the show on Saturday. She will have her black one in the Drivers Participation Class, and the maroon 74 will be in class 25E for judging. If you get tired of wandering thru the flea market, stop by and say hello. We're going to be hanging around the cars later in the PM after we get done with judging. Pray for sunshine!

I'm still on crutches so won't be there. Did you know that there is also a British Car show there on Sunday? Here is the info:

I was there last fall and it was a nice show.. Trophies for several classes etc.

Members of my club (ODBCC) will be coming down Sunday.

I may try to go on Sunday to catch the Euro show, the best days are thursday and friday as the crowd isn't as big as it is on Saturday and by Sunday a lot of the deals have been taken and folks are getting ready to leave early. the weather forcast isn't looking too good for thurs or fri, hopefully they're wrong.
If you have never been bring your best walking shoes, it's BIG and LMS gets bigger when you start walking around the infield.

Big indeed! Been there for several years as vendors with some friends from the Antique Auto club up here in Norfolk area but gave up the spaces this year because we wanted to do the car show with our MGBGT while it is still kinda fresh. (Sue says anything under 200,000 miles is still pretty fresh!). We'll be searching for fleas also on Friday (rain or shine). After doing Hershey PA for so many years, we're ready for anything!

If anyone local to Charlotte goes and stumbles across a good Passenger fender that will fit my 68' B I am in need of one badly and will be in charlotte on Monday and could pick it up!
