Cockpit Piping...

Does the piping for cockpit trim pieces only go on the outside of the car or is it on both sides? I understand that the dash bump pad has it below (between the dash and the body) and above it.

I installed the cockpit rails this weekend with piping on the outside and it seems like I have a lot left over (enough for one more trip around the interior).

Looked on Barney's site and didn't see it in the section about replacing the interior.

Per Barney - "The piping belongs on the outward exposed side of the rail only, not on the inside."

Yes it goes between dash and body - it is actually fixed to the top edge of the dashboard, but not anywhere else except the outside edge.

I guess they gave me double the amount needed. Ha! I'm sure I've paid for it six times over.
