I'm doing a complete restoration of a 64 B.

Many of the fasteners I'm tumbling, but some are too far gone and need replacing.

Does there exist a schedule of the various fasteners used in the engine and all through the car? Sure would make it easier to order what I need for replacement.

Thanks.

moss has sets but probably not what you want.

i don't know of such a list.

can't you just sort out what you have and make notes?

I've got two coffee cans full of rusted fasteners that came in the trunk of my '63. I'll go out and count them.;)

Bruce,
I think at least part of what you seek may be found here:

Good luck

One trick I've used when there was no previous match (as I've scratched my head and looked at empty holes during my resto) is to find the find the fastener in the Moss catalogue then flip to the back and look up the part number. One of the last pages has a Hardware breakdown that describes the size of each fastener they sell. Great resource.
Greg.

Wow, sure wish that info was availavble for the TR8. I placed an order for some fasteners a few weeks ago after some source tips from you guys. Forgot that it's a typical 80s car. Everything on the engine is standard but all the other stuff is metric.
So, I got a bunch of 1/4 28 stuff & I needed 6mm. Been through the bolt bin at Lowes a dozen times. They need to do some work on that mess!
This site is great. Don't think there is anything about a B you can't find out here.

I suggest, as I did.... click on "Follow this thread" on the bottom. This is a keeper.
