Today, I did the last task on my full leather interior (seats, door capings, middle console, entire dash, and steering wheel) and Mohair converible top with inner headlining.
It took me about 1 year to get everything done but it does look great and I am happy with the end results. Next steps are to color sand the exterior and get it ready for MG 2008.
Several pics to follow:

I love the red carpet! Looks great! I look forward to seeing it in person!
Wonderful color combination very tastefully done!! I also love the looks of the top. White exterior with the red mohair top is exquisite! I thought long and hard over that type of top for my car just based on looks but seeing as I only have the top on the car 3 months out of the year for what we call "winter" down here, I decided to go with the less expensive Robbins top.
Congratulations on a job suberbly done....both the interior and top look fantastic!
Very nice.
Question: Are the defroster vents supposed to be silver, is that stock? I ask because I'm getting ready to paint mine.

They are chrome. You can get them from several suppliers in the UK.
Nicely done! It looks excellent, and a very good fit on that top! Congratulations!
Beautiful, Dan. Great colour combination. You'll have to drive in your socks 'cause I can't imagine you'll be putting shoes in there!
Looks sharp, you did good. Who's kits did you use???????????

Carpets and Panel kits - Moss
Convertible Top - Prestige
Seat covers - Elite Parts-UK via Shawn Escue (thanks Shawn!)
Leather covering for Dash, middle console and steering - Uphosltery shop in Guadalajara, Mexico
Price for everything - a lot of money!
as many people realize, I am a great fan of the red and black combination, yours looks terrific!!!
(By the way, what color are your brake drums?) :)
Way to go Gary! Now its "street corner rules", and we all know the first smart-aleck doesn't stand a chance.
Have fun
Each step of your project has looked great. All together it is terrific! Love the combination of colors and materials. You must be very proud and pleased each time you drive it. Ain't no Jag's got nuthin' on this baby!
Well done. I am surprised you are going to colour sand NOW with all the chrome in place and the interior done. The buffing throws a lot of messy crap all over the place and I would be afraid of messing up the top. You should mask everything off VERY tightly before getting in to it. White spots on your top will ruin it.

yes, I wanted everything put together as one always has a nick and scratch here and there. I will put the top down and install the hardtop. You are right, everything has to be masked otherwise it will create a mess. I will also take my time and I do not have to be ready until June.
Dan, very very nice. I like it. Are those special panels just forward of the radio console? If so, how'd you make them? Is there some sort of interior light mounted on each side--or what is that?

The leather side panels are available from the MGOC in the UK. They are available in different colors and include an interior light with each panel. All you have to do is wire both lights to the interior light on top of the middle console.

What made you choose black seats with a red interior?

I wanted something different that still looks good. I am not a fan of the all black or all red.
How much bulkier is the top when it is folded up with that headliner in there?
Looks awesome, I love the red and the black. Splitting them up brings more personality to the car!

Not much but it does look bulkier. The tonneau cover still fits.
