I know all of you will like this. If I can do it, I'll scan the article and post it here for anyone who wants to read.
I lost this item in an earlier auction a few years ago and discovered this one in a random eBay search with an hour to go. It came with four other Sportscar magazines from the past.
Hap, I wonder if the body on the rotisserie is #9?

There's another article from the January '75 Sportscar (written by Joe Huffaker) about the Huffaker MGB's that features Terry Visger's car that I scanned in a few years ago. If someone wants a copy, PM me your email address.
This particular article focused more on Terry V, but did break down the build sheet of the car. Joe E Huffaker (which I assume is Sr.'s son - is the main engine builder) and attributed it's success to being bulletproof. The car had only two DNFs in a matter of years.
I aquired a copy of that magazine in my Huffaker single hoop MGB research, gave the original to Eddie and scanned copies for myself, I remember thinking at the time, that was #9 on the rotisserie, because of the time frame of the article. I also remember thinking how filmsy looking that rotisserie looked, I sure it was fine, but it's didn't look like there was much to it.
One of the highligths of my research for the magazine article was phone interviewing Terry.
Well, you guys forced me to my "archives"... Find that I have extra copies of both the referenced Sports Cars... Would be will to see them go to new, "caring", homes... open to offers + postage...... PM me.
1. Vol 36, # 5, May 78, Has the #11 Huffaker cover shot, plus article. Another + is a period Mazada poster pullout in the middle of that article!
2. Vol. 33, #1, Jan 75, has the special article by Joe Sr. on prep of the B. Also, that copy seemed to be a special on MG's... had several other features, including: a tour of the Beer collection in the Uk, photo history of MG's from 1924 thur 1974 (note the 50 yrs..), in depth article of K3 race car from 1932, MG's 200 MPH pass on the Autobahn in '39... Would say this one has more MG stuff for the collector/historian, than just Huffaker cars...50th aniv. and all...
Also, have several other duplicate Sports Cars, so if you have something specific (results, history, family...) and know year/month, issue #, or whatever, let me know...not ready to give stuff away, but like to see things find good homes...
I don't check pm's often, so be patient..

Bob et al:
I'm also looking for the November and December 1978, and September through November 1981 issues of SportsCar.
I joined the SCCA in 11/78, and moved between apartments in 1981 hence the missing issues. Otherwise I have a complete set from 1/1979 through 1/2012.

Must say thanks for all the interest in the magazines I've offered up...
But, please make me an offer, rather than asking "what I want...." If I knew, I would have posted it that way.... As is, getting lots of interest, but all wanting me to set a price...don't know where to start, with whom...etc...
Figured market/interest would set value...must be more that scrap paper, or other less interesting issues....
Still have them, make me an offer?
[Sorry, to be so contrarian.....guess that's just the way I am....can't even sell things in a seller's market......geeze, what a problem... anyone wanting some old clutch discs, gears with teeth missing, broke rods, split cranks, holed blocks, used brake pads? those I can/will price....]
Cheers...
Bob L.
Guess, I blew it...by not posting earlier..
Both copies have found new homes..all gone.
Thanks for all the interest....
If I run across additional copies, will keep those that have asked in mind/first in line...
Hope you luck in other searches...
Bob Lembcke
I've scanned both articles 75 & 78 and have submitted them to the Library.
