Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the help with my switch/relay questions. I got the switch back together (headlight rocker switch, '73 B ), but noticed a small rip in the dash covering near the bottom left corner of the rectangular hole. The "crack" is about 3/16" long, and really not too obvious. I was wondering if anyone has used any glues etc. to stop these dash tears from becoming worse? Any advice? Dash is perfect otherwise.
Paul

Check your jellow pages for vinyl repair or you may find a repair kit in a crafts or big box store.

They have a vinyl repair kit in the automotive section of Walmart - which makes me ask - do ya'll have Walmarts in Canada? -

Just follow the repair kit instructions religiously. Stopping a crack can be the best way to keeping it from growing, and with plastics, a good repair that fuses the two sides of the tear back together will relieve the stresses on that tear. If the tear/crack is not pulling apart, you should not need very much of the repair material at all. Keep the quantity of repair material down and it will be as inconspicuous as possible.
