Can you put a picture up of the decals ?
I might then be able to help..

:S
I don't think they are from 1962, I had that last one on the header rail of a 1973 Midget :(
The Teclamit stickers go on the air cleaners, placed near the inner (large) edge, and readable from the left wing side. The commission number plate wasn't used until the Mkl II. Haven't seen the last one before. Suggest you find a picture to get the air cleaner stickers correct. Sorry I don't have one.

Actually the Tecalmit sticker belongs on the oil filter casing - IF you have the early type with the replaceable inner filter cartridge.
The LIFT HERE stickers belong on the header rail adjacent to the clips.
Forget the Commission plate - not used on MK1's

But was that header rail decal on the MK1's? - I didn't think so, also the air filters should carry 'Cooper' decals on them.
Totally agree about the 'Cooper' stickers for the air filters..
:)
Ingemar....non of those stickers are for an early MGB. The hood release sticker is for the fold down top on 1970 and later MGBs. The commission plate is not used on MK1 MGBs either. The Tecalmit sticker is used only on 68-69 MGBs and MGCs with the upside down oil filter and replacable element....read the sticker.
The one sticker that you should have but will find difficult to locate is the sticker on the speedo face that tells how to reset the trip meter. Early cars didn't have much 'adornment'.
Anyone happen to have a pic?
Thx,
Marc
"
Lloyd, I have that sticker but couldn´t find a picture of it.
A sticker I have problem to find is the one on the oil cooler

depends....do you have the original cooler or a later style? Original cooler 'stickers' were metal and not really stickers.
picture of your cooler?
If you're talking about this metal oil cooler "sticker", PM me your postal address and I'll send you one. They were present on MGA oil coolers, don't know when they stopped appearing on MGBs, but no doubt after 1962.
It´s strange that they sell it as a cit for a -62, when so many of the stickers dont belong to the car
Lloyd, the oil cooler sticker that Mark posted is the right one, and he will send one to me so the problem
is solved. Thank you Mark.

Ingemar.....make sure you have the proper early cooler (don't waste the sticker on a later cooler which didn't have them).
I have the same sticker on my coller now but it´s half overpainted an in bad shape (can i say so?)
Ingemar...English is fine...better than many guys on the site....:)-D I see your car is an original LHD car.....imported from the USA? (since your country was still RHD in the fall of 1962).
Lloyd, no the car came directly from England and the strange thing is that we in Sweden drove on the left side until september 1967, and in left hands cars. In Sweden we have never driven right hands cars.
I sent you a Private Message, Ingemar. You should see a red linbk in the upper right hand portion of the page....
Thanks,
Marc
My car came to Sweden one week after new year -63 and has the number GHN3L2138. I bought it in august 1984 and drove it for to years and then we got kids and I put it in the garage for 24 years. In 2010 the resoration began and 2011 i could drive it for the first time in 25 years..
AzMarc, did you get my private message? I dont now if it works. I got your adres but is your sirname mark?
Yes, Thanks.

AzMarc, I mail you the sticker tomorrow and I buy a new one for myself in march
AcMarc, here is the sticker in poor quality:
"
Yes, they are poor quality today. The original ones were clear backround, not white. (which blocks your view of the speedo!)
That could easily be rectified, Paul if the rest of the sticker is accurate...Not an uncommon font.

That is very kind of you but I can wait. I wouldn't want you to be stuck without one.
Thanks,

Hi Ingemar.
What a coincidence... your chassis number is almost the same as mine!
They probably followed each other down the line in Abingdon, back in October 1962 :)-D
Do you have any more pictures?
Ingemar, it must have been a huge thrill to drive your MG again after 25 years! Congratulations.
Speaking of decals, I just bought one of these on eBay.http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250984515076&ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:AU:1123#ht_500wt_1046
It goes on the jack stem below the handle. I've owned my MGB for 42 years and the original label on the jack is now barely discernible. Guess I should clean up and my repaint my jack now!
Anyone got a source for the label for the speedometer glass?

I have tried to send you a PM but it says that " the mail storage for acMarc is full"
am I doing something wrong or is it you who should do someting?
However, I have sent you a sticker for free today, but the shop charge me 6$ for each new one I buy so let me know if you still want more for that price.
Ingemar
Anyone who has a picture of the speedometer sticker mounted on the speedometer?
