Englishparts.com has changed hands, Engel Imports – Terry’s Jaguar Parts located in Kalamazoo Michigan is the new owner. As the new owner we would like to address any outstanding problems that were not resolved by the prior owner.

There have been postings regarding past problems with the most significant being credit cards that were charged but the parts were not shipped followed by the lack of response to emails and phone calls inquiring about the orders. We would like to set things right. At this time there are 35 individuals that are either owed a refund or parts that we have not been able to contact. The oldest orders date to mid-October and it is more than likely that the purchasers have been refunded through their credit card processors. If that is not the case and you are owed parts, a refund or you have ANY issue with englishparts.com please contact us at 800-581-3033 EST.

Just a little bit about Engel Imports – Terry’s Jaguar, we are a direct importer of British car parts and have been in business for over 30 years. There is a team of over 25 people behind every order we send out, including an experienced sales team. This means when you place an order with englishparts.com or call the toll free number you will be dealing with a real brick & mortar company with live salespeople who know the vehicles.

I would like to thank Skye (Website moderator) for allowing the posting since it could be construed as a commercial posting which is normally not allowed.

I'll vouch for Engle Imports. I searched numerous vendors when I needed to purchase a new gas tank for my 66. I contacted you guys and the staff was very helpful and the tank arrived in perfect condition and was even painted black! I had no fitting issues at all and was a nice quality tank. Look forward to perhaps doing more business with you as needed.

Good luck with your venture.

I have just the best to say for Engel and Terry's.
I've dealt with them both for years, and have had excellent service, and when given a due date for a part from across the pond, they delivered as promised. Quality supplier.

I am an Engel parts customer who orders from Jean. I just wish that there was a catalog or price list somewheres.
It soundls like you are doing a great thing taking care of cleaning up after problems that were not of your making.
Cheers!

I've bought from Jean at Engel, and used to buy from TJ when he was there, no complaints, good company to deal with, you guys were the only folks who I found that would special order the 1900cc street MGB pistons I wanted from County, thanks by the way, I like to see those pistons stocked, hint, hint :), I think the folks would buy them, I know I would give them a good endorsement for sure. I'm guessing you guys bought it for the ready online website, since you're already in the parts business. I wish you all good luck in your venture (tu)

I have used Engel for over 10 maby 14 years & I am/have been more than very happy with them! Will go WAY past what others will do, I called & needed to buy some matching door locks for the MGB, thay ordered 8 sets of the same lock #. Now I have 1 key that works 8 differnt car door locks of mine. I hate looking for the keys to each of my MGs, now I have 1 set of keys to find.

Engel is a great company with super helpful and knowledgeable employees. I have used their "retail" business for the last 5-6 years. They really go out of their way to get what I have needed. At first I thought their prices were a little high, but after seeing the super quality I am very willing to pay the price.

Good luck to their new business venture.

Engel is amazing. I have used them a couple times recently in a pinch. Quick shipping for me since I am in Illinois.

My father bought tons of parts from Engel back in the day when he was running his repair shop on Western Ave in Chicago.

Good people, good parts, good service!

Another strong endorsement for ENGEL! Way back when they even set up a little conference call with a guy in cali. who walked me through my horn rewire.

To be honest, I was apprehensive when I first asked the good people here about this company 2 years ago.

I might give them a try, as I'm going to be needing sills *sigh* and I can drive to Atlanta to pick up the parts.

Dave - hearing this from someone who is not directly responsible for someone elses failure give me confidence. Thanks.

Be Coming

Jim.

I believe that the parts would be shipping from Michigan, not from Atlanta.

Originally EnglishParts.Com was the web outlet for Atlanta Imported Car Parts. That arrangement failed and the owners of the website tried to fulfill orders themselves. That evidently didn't work.

Now, Engel has reached an agreement to directly market through the website.

Thanks, Kelvin - I am pretty much equidistant from MI & GA, so it's just a matter of turning left or right on I-75.
