You might have done this but check your fuses. Sounds like your components that will only work with the key on are out.

Check stabilizer, firewall, left side, under dash. Input: 12 vdc, output: pulsing, around 10 volts plus or minus a bunch.
Hi Terry,
I don't know what year your car is, but if it has an ign relay fittes (just forward of the fuse box) may want to check that as well (generic 30a relay from auto parts will work fine and only cost about $6 )
Other causes may be poor connections at fuse block.
Good luck Cheers Ric
I have a 78B............had crossed the battery cables (don't ask) and blew the alternator....I'm sure I fried several other items....all fuses that I can find appear good. Guess I should poull them and put them on a meter.
You're on the right track, check all the fuses on a meter, check the stabilizer, go here and look at your schematic for more ideas....

When checking the fuses, also check for power at the wire terminals that connect to the fuse box. Fuse boxes can corrode at the rivets that hold the contacts together preventing current from getting through. Use a wiring diagram as a guide to help trace the power loss. There were changes made to the wiring throughout the years, so supplying the model year of your car will help us in giving you accurate information.
