Last year I bought an engine and tranny off a memeber of this forum (M Lennan). Finally it's in and running. Has a cross flow head, street performance cam, bandit carb a few other goodies. Man am I a happy guy just took it out and the sucker flies. Just wants to rev, wish I watched the tach, but I was busy humming to myself (lol). After not being a big B fan I gotta tell ya wish I had put it in when I got it. Just posting this year because no one else would understand why an old man would get so happy and excited over an old MG. Cars a 72 with O/D. Now all I gotta do is find a miata Hheheheheh. Bill

What are you gonna do with or maybe to, the Miata?
BTW, if you're ever cruising west on 422, honk when you pass Royersford!
I gonna pass it like it's going backwards hehe. May very well take it out on the bypass and see what she'll do I'll be the one yelling WHOPPEE. The TD's carbs are suposed to show up wensday so i'll be taking it for a spin as well, of course a tad bit of diference. But it's all good. Theres also a red B (rubber bumpers) sits on level rd I see everyday on my way home next time I see him by the car I'm going to stop and say hi. Ever get on trooper rd stop by. Bill
Will do Bill.
BTW, do you belong to any of the local MG clubs? I belong to the Delaware Valley Classic MG Club (www.dvcmg.com). Good bunch of folks and most of them have TDs or TCs. Nice mix of As & Bs too. Lots of activities throughout the year.
Never been a club type kinda guy. A tad busy with the cars, I also run our dive boat and a coupla other things. Although have thought about it especially for the car knowledge and of course I have a big shop for the cars and my other toys that could be made available for occasional repair meetings which I understand some clubs do. We'll see how it shakes out, Bill

Did that at a track day several years ago. Granted it was an earlier version and stock but does give a good feeling to make old tech whoop a modern version. Guess you have to have a certain mindset for such things. Sort of like David & Goliath. Congratulations on getting it running. Gotta love it when a plan comes together. 72 is the best BTW ;)
