Darn Mark, where were you 3 months ago???? That is a sweet deal.
Rob
.does it come with all the stuff in the first photos.? What do you think it would cost to get to 48876, in Mi.
Comes with everything listed. Use the freight link to check shipping from 81631. Not sure if it will all fit on one pallet. It should, but wont know till I try.

If you can get it on one pallet, truck shipping should be reasonable. I've got an OD transmission on a pallet right now with plenty of room left for a motor, though the header would probably have to come off. I've put out a request for a shipping quote from the uship link you provided. I will gladly purchase your drivetrain if I get a decent shipping bid (I don't expect much Sunday night, but who knows these days?)! If I was in driving distance I'd come pick it up myself, say hey, and look at what you're putting the V-6 in. Must be fun...
Any idea what the weight might be? I figure 100# for the tranny, but what does a complete MGB motor weigh?
I believe the 1.8L (stock) is around 350lbs.
These guys:
http://www.marketratequote.com/ came in with the best bid for my 3.4L shipping.
Let me know what you find out.

I just spent that plus for an engine overhaul. If this would have been up 3 months ago, it woulda been a no brainer. Wish I had the money lying around to pick this up.
Okay, I sent the same shipping stuff to marketrate, but it's Easter Sunday, so maybe tomorrow sometime we'll hear. But put me in for dibbs already, as in, what's your preferred type of payment? I think we'll get a decent shipping rate from someone, from what I saw. What happened to the "kid" who snagged this the first time around? -Larry

Probably blew his engine for the second time in a row and then went off to College as an English major... Sound like anyone on the forum?
The kid:
he said he wanted it when I pulled it. I had told him it would be a month or two before it came out and would let him know. he has not returned my emails so he loses... seemed a bit young to be able to get the cash but you never know...
Anyway, if you want it we can take this offline to arrange the details.

You mean... ???
Oh!!!
I never would have guessed.

You know what? This was a waste of time and effort. Re your email, Mark, sell it to your second bidder from New Mexico who will pick up. I was hoping for a few days to line up shipping, but if you can't wait.... Cheers, Larry

Bio Psychology?
"
Biopsychology is the branch of psychology that analyzes how the brain and neurotransmitters influence our behaviors, thoughts, and feelings. This field can be thought of as a combination of basic psychology and neuroscience. Many psychology programs use alternate names for this field, including biopsychology, physiological psychology, behavioral neuroscience, and psychobiology. Biopsychologists often look at how biological processes interact with emotions, cognitions, and other mental processes.

I was almost impressed with that until post of yours until I typed "biopsychology" into google, clicked the first link available, and this definition was on the page that it gave me word for word:
http://psychology.about.com/od/biopsychology/a/biopsyc.htm
If you're majoring in it you should at least know what it is and how to define it without cut/paste.
You know Jamesy boy I wrote a couple page response basically asking why you enjoy picking on me and pointing out how immature you being but I just give up James I'm sick of fighting with you. Please stop being a jerk for once grow up.

That is probably for the best. I wouldn't have been able to interpret it anyway.
Dont be such a smirk Ass, you immature little boy. Your not funny your not kool your just some little boy that needs to grow up, shame your parent have not taught you jack in real world traits.

Oh they have. In this case though, my dad can't even understand what you're saying at all either. For example: I can have a smirk on my face, or I can be a smart ass, but unfortunately, I do not have the muscles required to have a smirk on my ass, as you suggested. My teachers refer to this as "precision in language". I refer to it as "spell check". Don't get mad at me because I caught you copying and pasting the definition of your major.
Instead of whining about how mean I am, why don't you make an effort to prove me wrong? Really, why not? Whining isn't going to get you anywhere.
Don't give a crap about that, I care about you screwing with me and making F'ing reference to me when I have not done any thing to you.
Keep it civil please, or I'll lock the thread.
Please review the Forum rules posted at the top regarding language and behaviour.
Thanks,
Skye

Keenan, you have made a reference or two to me before, but I'm not allowed to make one towards you? That just seems unfair... Here is one that you made fairly recently: "Today I went to college, James would be proud an English class. See James I’m there."
I didn't mind you making that reference, which even included my name, but yet I make a reference to you, not even with your name, and you get mad about it? If you truly "don't give a crap about that", then why do you keep posting back up and getting mad about it?
Good luck in getting your car together. When do you plan on hitting the road with it? Think you could make it to MG 2008?
back on topic...
Mark, I'm going to look at another MGB tomorrow in Phoenix that supposedly has been completed body, paint and interior wise. If it is everything that the seller says it is and the photos show then I'll be sending a PM pretty quickly. It's got a very tired engine in it, and this sounds like a great setup.
There's been a glut of good cars/parts come up lately...I better build a new garage soon...
Mark...the 66 I went to look out turned out to be not as expected, so I'll be passing on that one. Ended up with a 68 MGB GT with a pretty fresh rebuild. Good luck with the sale...it sounds like a good deal!
