Hi Wayne,

This event has been on the "to do" list for sometime ... but work commitments have always stepped in the way; so this year I made a firm decision to try and get there.

I've met with Brett and Geoff Morse ... http://www.peninsulasportscars.com.au/ ... to begin prep of #63 and there's not much to do apart from change the fluids; Oil, Water, Brake & Clutch; check the expiry date on the belts, new plugs, new slick tyres; add prep the driver and we're ready to go

Everything's looking good so far and even have the blessing of "Wifey" and started to put a budget together ... that is until wifey reminds me that I'd be diverting funds away from the resto project of the 65 Roadster.

Budget for FoSC Easter Meeting Bathurst NSW

* Spanner Check and Change Fluids - $500
* New Dunlop Slick Tyres x 4 - $1,500
* New Driver Safety Belts x 1 Set - *$300
* Fuel (Avgas) - $300
* Race Entry & Paddock Marquee Fees - $1,000
* Transport Costs, Fuel Food & Accommodation - $500
* New FIA// Cams Approved Nomex lined Race Suit and Driving Shoes - $1,000
* Set Up and Practise Days x 2 @ Wakefield Park - $500

Total Estimated Costs - $5,600

Racing for the week or watching; for a day either way I'll be trying to get there and take a few photo's of the V8 boys for Curtis.
