I'll be draining the transmission and O/D so that I can change some gaskets on the O/D that seem to be leaky. When I refill (this is a '79), all the oil for both the trannie and O/D goes in the same hole on the side on the transmission, right? I should know this but I don't. Thanks all.
Greg

After you drive it check the level again. You may need to add a little.

I always fill the trans then drop the back end down lower than the frt. Run it on the jack stands that way engageing the OD. Then level and recheck. This assures the OD unit is filled.

holds 3 and 1/2 qts ,i would service 3 and 1/4 qts as some residual oil may be left in the trans/od unit.
