My throw out bearing exploded last year during an autocross event, or at least one mile away from home on my way back. I've been working out of town since then and the B sat in the garage unfortunately until last month when I was finally able to take the time to get it repaired.
The tags expired during its winter hibernation and I finally got it inspected today and it passed. You never know when you're going to get that "well, you do have an exhaust leak..." bit. Anyway, now its all ready to drive.
I toyed with the idea of driving back to where I work in it and using it for a week or so, but decided against it, no garage and if for any reason something happenned I'd be SOL in the middle of nowhere. But at least I can look forward to going home and driving it around! Anyway, just thought I'd share.
