Finally got the engine back in today!

Motor mounts lined up perfectly on the first attempt, and have 1 bellhousing bolt in. Should finish it off tomorrow if the weather stays nice!

Looks good. What lift attachment points did you use?

Actually I used adjustable "web" straps under each end of the engine to lift it out and put it back in again....no problems whatsoever either coming out or going back in....the straps have 3/8" thick "J" hooks on each end that fit perfectly into the hooks on my engine leveller. I wasn't going to take any chances lifting it out using any part of rockers etc.

to prove the worth of good strapping....the engine actually sat suspended on these straps on the hoist for almost a week without any problems.
