Someone posted in the trader about using Hornet or Gremlin flares on a B instead of Omni, since they are so hard to find. Has anyone ever used them? There is a salvage yard about 10 miles away with 4 Gremlins in it. It sure would save alot of time searching craigslist.

That as my post, Jeff. I was looking at a Hornet (AMC Eagle) at Classic Motorsports world HQ this afternoon.
The Hornet/Gremlin flare is more pronounced, more bulbous than the Omni flare. I've used them, but not on a B. I would go to the yard with a large piece of newspaper, and trace the area where the flare ends and the fender is flat. See if thats not too large to adapt to a B.
Hey Jeff, the pull-a-part in CS has 2 Omnis and 1 Horizon with all their flares. I didn't think they were worth the chance of pulling them and sending them cross country but if you are looking for yourself, you can decide if they are workable.
They also have a 77 or newer B sitting there. No engine, transmission or interior but shell and suspension, bolt on hubs. Driveshaft was sitting inside it.
Also caught a glimpse of a white rubber bumper B sitting outside the door at ALL Foreign the other day. I didn't go back in to see about it or if it had an OD.
Good luck finding a Hornet or Gremlin that hasn't rusted into fluff by now.
