Hi Everyone,
I've programmed the "Site Navigation" bar in the left sidebar to go "sticky" when you scroll down on a really long page. This should make it faster and easier to navigate the website and hopefully highlight a few areas that some people haven't explored yet (easy to get navigational "tunnel vision" after being on the forums a while)
Let me know in this thread if it has any problems (tested on Chrome, iPad, Firefox, and IE 8)
Exciting Saturday night Javascript programming :D

It has to be a long page, long enough to go past all the other stuff in the left sidebar.
Once the Facebook badge is scrolled off the top, it will appear.
Adding more space so you can see the effect in this thread.
Keep going down......

Ooops, now it falls off the bottom of the page.
Site Navigation is level with the top of the page, but with the length of the index the last item is Cars For Sale and the rest falls below the page and can't be reached.
I am not sure how you address that (if you feel it necessary). I am viewing the site on a laptop. Expanding the page as far as it will go... I can get down to Motorsport (under Model Pages).

That's fine. I can't optimize for every display size. Just scroll back to the top of the page and it will "re-dock" if you want to get to the rest of the Navigation.
If you don't see it, clear your browser cache or hold down the Shift key while clicking the reload button to pick up the new Javascript library.

I'm running IE7 and it works.
The letters in the menu look a little more faded, I thought it was my screen fizzling out.

MSIE doesn't support opacity very well, so I've disabled the "fade in" effect for that browser.
Do the shift-reload thing described above to pick up the change, text should look normal again.
