I have a 1977 parts car with good floor pans. If I cut them out will they fit in my 1970 MGB? How about the trunk pan where the spare tire goes. Can I do the same thing there? Great forum. Thanks in advance.

B..seein ya

Yes, the floor pans are the same from 68-80, same with the trunk. I cut the floor pan from a 79 and put in my 72, worked very well.

You are WAY more ambitious than I am. Yes they will fit fine after all the work.

I wanted to be sure before putting in the effort of removing them. Thank Brian.

I agree it is a lot of work but I am obsessed with seeing how much value I can get out of my parts car. Plus it fits in well for activity to be done in a "bad economy". Thanks Peter.

Great forum.
