Couple of weeks back (more like two months) I had one of teh two springs on the shaft between the SUs break and as a temporary measure I installed the Weber 32/36.
I recently got two springs from Chris and yesterday I went to replace the SUs. Not thinking I removed the Weber without re-assembling the SUs first.
I went to place the new springs on the shaft and yep - wrong ones. The weren't big enough and did not have the long tail that the broekn oine had (it was the tail that broke).
So back went the Weber, and I did want to have thje SUs in place for next weeks car shwo here in town.
Fruitless day.

Oh nuts! You have HIFs not HS4s! Sorry I don't have any core HIFs.
Don't throw those springs out.
