As has been said over the past several months here we go again. I guess they are now going to blame someone else for why old prices are going up. I wonder just what the oil producing countries are going to do. We just made their long term outlook improve significantly.
Can't wait for the ones to say this is the right thing to do. And it is from the Obama new center MSNBC.

I saw a great slogan the other day."We sell Wheat to IRAN for $7.00 a bushel, they sell us oil for $127.00 a barrel. Simple solution we sell our Wheat for $128.00 a bushel. Who can hold out the longest NO Food or No Gas.
Ken
Ken, that would be worth a try and fun. The hard part is the leaders of Iran don't care whether their people eat so it is the same as negotiating with North Korea.
We are just going to pay up.
On the way to the hospital this AM (9AM) Speedway gas was $1.75 per gal. On the way home at 9:40 AM speedway gas was $1.95 per gal. That's when I realized I had to fill up. Damn!

this will clear it,. explains it all
Well you cant blame China, they are in recession too. I heard they permanently shut down a gas refinery in California. Diesel is high, but they export it so it will never go down..
You can blame congress for the economies mess, but truth be told, high energy prices probably pushed us over the edge. Now the shieks are wanting more and more so they can export more terrorism.
Sand is used to make glass right?
Chuck, yes if you get it hot enough. Were you talking about lighting up the place.
In this case they do not care about the impact on the economy. They only care that we reduce gasoline consumption and keep our eye on climate change. They know that $125 oil keeks them happy and the Sheik happy.

Now you sound like a Liberal of a few months ago, everything was Bush's fault!!! Will that be your answer for everything going forward, it is all Obama's fault?? I really enjoy people like you. Your concern is to find blame, never ever try to work with the situation and make it the best possible just blame someone. Then you espouse your way as the only way and berate anyone and everything that goes counter to your beliefs.
As I've said before, I still don't know the answers for the mess we have right now but I don't think added Socialism is the answer. Yes I said "added", what else would you call past government price supports, susidies, land banks for farmers, etc, not to mention this recent spate of bank bailouts? But in any case time will tell if any of it will help. I for one thought tax breaks of 10-20% for everyone, including businesses, would put things right.

Steve, re-read my posts that I submitted on this subject several months before the election. I have said it several times and been consistent. This an action that was started in the House as soon as Bush initiated the executive order. They promised to reverse it after the election which is the only reason they allowed it during the Bush administration. Within the first three weeks and I believe about the 6th executive order Obama paid off the debt.
Who am I supposed to hold responsible for this.
The question is do you agree with Obama signing the executive order. You can google it and read the content.
You lucky bugger's $1-95 a gallon?
That's about 50c a ltr?
We in the UK are paying £1-00 ($1-50) a ltr.
