Hello all, My winter project was to pull engine and gearbox to replace floor rails. In doing so I figure to replace some items such as the gearbox mounting bushing and bolts that attach the gearbox and engine. As far as the bolts go I ordered from Moss and they only listed one part number. When I received the blots they were to short for my 62 MGA MKII. It looks like the bosses on my gearbox are to thick. Has any one else experience this with there gearbox? see attached pics
Thanks

Yes, absolutely normal. The flange on the MK-II is thicker, and this later on carries over to the MGB. Moss needs to update their catalog with different part number for the longer bolts for the MGA 1600-MK-II type gearbox.

BG Would ordering the bolt kit for the 3 main MGB work? Thanks.
Thank you Barney for the info, I didn't think I had the only odd ball gearbox.
BA, -- I don't know. I don't have an SPL for MGB. Ditto Gary. Grade 5 bolts from hardware store or local auto parts store. Description my last post.
