The manual says to check 3rd gear endfloat prior to disassembling the mainshaft, but I couldn't find the tolerance given anywhere. Does anyone know what it is? My endfloat measures .019". I notice that Moss only carries the .157" thrust washer, so I don't see many options other than replacing the thrust washer and interlocking ring and hoping that the result is in spec.

The only other thing I couldn't find is how to measure endfloat for the input shaft bearing to determine how much shim should be behind the front cover.
